Great job upping your content, idea and execution. The commentary has to be high level for this editing to even be possible. More long form content like this.
Ok tuvshno you are smurfing right now. I thought you cant make a video that is better edited than your last video on your channel and you did it. Keep up the great work
Before I say this, this video was AMAZINGLY edited, giga props to the editor. This video was a work of art by these two and I'd love to see more. ... But I'd also like to point out the ezreal portrait replacing the caitlyn portrait mistake @ around 16:17. Very minor mistake though.
This is so insightful it's actually insane, you can watch LS vods and avoid paying those sponsored coach companies to be honest, if we are talking macro and general understanding of the game. I can't believe how many times I've had a scaling comp that was just looking for fights mid-game, lost it and the ff votes started cascading. Wish this could actually go viral and people start watching it. Great content!
already was said before, but huge props to the editor, some really high-quality shit. Was watching this live, but this editing made the second watch so much more enjoyable, thank you for that
Dude the edits on this video are great, really makes a much more entertaining video for sure. Keep the coming please! Miss the speed cod reviews on the main channel
I just play league with my brain off, and then I listen to LS and realize thats exactly why im hardstuck... and im perfectly happy staying that way lol.
So accurate , i know a lot and could potentially put in the work to get good but I play league the fun way with my brain off and hope mechanics can make me win
Their early game aggression was all about getting Kindred marks early. They did end up getting 4 Marks and I guess the idea was to make up for a mid game trough where TES would be opting for aggressive picks with their comp, in support of the Inaction is Action principle . But yeah DRX macro fell behind mid game with those weird decisions
The point was to pick long range mages who wouldn't get cucked by the ornn galio frontline combined with the kindred R so artillery mages such as Ziggs, Xerath, Velkoz, Syndra, maybe even Azir.
I kinda hope that someone that understand english for drx can watch this and was able convey it to drx players in korean Because its kinda pity because every player in drx is mechanically gifted individually
@president camacho if you are freezing the lane, the enemy jungler HAS to gank you to unfreeze the lane for his laner, otherwise you would gain xp and gold advantage that would pile up.. if you have a freeze it also means you HAVE lane priority, because the freeze will turn into slow push over time or if you decide to, and not into a wave crash into your turret...you wont lose objectives because you are freezing, in fact, you have the power to choose when exactly you crash the wave into enemy turret to gain lane priority and force the opponent to choose between farming 2-3 stacked waves or contesting an objective,...with freeze you also have the power to get cheater recall or roam when you want to..thats why freezing is so good In lower elos /iron-plat/ players usually dont know when is the right time to unfreeze your wave and gain prio, well some dont even know how to maintain the freeze and their opponents often hand them the freeze / its very visible among low elo toplaners/ So its better for them to just push, cuz in low elo pushing is winning
@president camacho nah this isn't about theory vs. reality or players not being perfect machines or other strawmen like that. It's really simple: play for the comp that you drafted. DRX has been playing a very agressive style (sinning) for too long and can't rid themselves of the habit of forcing tfs. Playing for scaling and late objectives/ map control was the key but they can't understand it still when they are ahead in gold and same number of drakes.
@president camacho i agree with what martin said, and would like to add on abit.Never once did Ls say that you have should freeze when objective are up,only when the objectives are down or not worth it aka first 2 drag/herald Now why is first 2 drag are givable because the stats they give by their own are not impactful enough to justify fighting Now if you have a better scaling team comp your freeze will help push you faster into your core item while delaying the enemies core item because you would have your enemy literally traded alot of exp and gold for sort of minor buff to your stats from the drags.By the time third drake spawn you would have better item and higher level over your opponents that they cannot contest any drag beyond the second one.
@president camacho also saying that what Ls want team to play requires them to play 100% perfect is quite contrary to what he is teaching and what the teams are drafting nowaday Because Ls draft usually just requires the player to sit back and farm and automatically win late game while alot of team drafted stuff like lee sin and renekton which requires them to either :A) gain a really big lead in order to snowball or B) be extremely on point the whole game which is like what you say, they must be 100% perfect in their play at all times Because these champion are like a time bomb, each time you cut the wrong wire, the timer goes down by 5 min ,the time bomb goes off, the champ become extremely irrelevant and turned the game into a 4v5 generally Then you might ask why do team that drafted alot of scaling end up loosing alot, this is because they play these comp like they are playing an aggressive comp. The enemy champion are better and stronger early game yet you see team with scaling team comp fight or group early without their core item. I am gonna use the time bomb example again, imagine the enemy have a time bomb(sinner comps),all you (scaling comp) need to do is just run away from the person carrying the time bomb but you (scaling comp)choose to instead run towards the time bomb(aka playing aggresive/force fight) you gave the (sinner comp) a chance to just beat the shit out of you before the time bomb goes off.thats pretty much what drx did .
I think the general concept of Ls draft is simple: I am going to give you a draft that is if you are ahead you win,if you are even your chances winning are significantly higher than opponent,if you are behind you still have a chance to win While the sinner concept of a draft is :if you are ahead you must push forward your advantage or end,if you are even you must force thing before your time bomb goes of,if you are behind you lose
i was wondering at 31:16 what was the correct play for drx? they need to slow the game right? so how do they do that they leave mid without prio and go to drake and place vision there and when tes try to do drake, they try ti pick them with the vision? but like if tes just walk as 5 after havin take priority in mid, they just handshake a teamfight 5v5 that they don't want right? i am always puzzled about late comp and drake control, how should drx play this? if they leave drake it's gonna be bad but if they fight even with vision they probably gonna lose since tes comp should win early on or mid, so should they just trade it with minion and jungle camps?, i don't understand
If someone like LS will recommend Trynda as an answer to a pro draft then i'm all ready locking in T1 for worlds 2021 champs. we need more of this for pro games than the handshake drafts it tends to show.
LS's voice is extremely quiet, Mr. Editor. Could u like quadruple his volume next time? I have to always pump up my volume to hear him correctly with these edits.
it'd probably depend on whether or not those kindred marks would win them the game. obviously it worked but if it didn't they'd just throw over a stack or two for kindred when it might not even matter (i dont know how kindred stacks work so I don't know how worth they are).
Mostly what im looking for is how many camps do I have up? My Raports and Golems are up okay. My Mark is on enemy Raports, Can I take enemy Golems as well then reset/take herald? Yes I can okay I will invade. No I can only take one Mark? Not worth if I give up my Side off the map for 1 mark
Isnt the 17:40 invade really good? DRX is invading to get kindred her mark so that she can increase her range. For DRX to actually do what you were talking about in draft, kindred would at least need some stacks to be somewhat relevant. I'm obviously not saying to arbitrarily invade 24/7 over wolves but I feel like DRX made a decision that was somewhat safe as they had a lot of cooldowns available and decide to use them to secure the Kindred mark. I'm genuinely curious if you think maybe it was worth or if it still isn't?
I think it can be important in certain comps where it relies on kindred getting ahead early, but not necessary in this specific comp that drx have From what ls is saying eventually drx has an immovable front line and would be able to get vision easier than tes could so there's no need to push for the marks early when you have a more guaranteed time to get it later bc you have Caitlyn to play the better range game vs all of tes and make it hard for them to approach and you have kindred playing back anyways to provide lambs respite in case of some random vlad flank or if cait gets flashed on, and plus he's saying that drx don't even have to fight early bc the pressure is on tes to make a move 1st and try to get picks to keep themselves in the game so kindred arguably doesn't need the early 4 marks for the extra range bc drx shouldn't be looking to fight/skirmish over things that aren't objectives and the way the fights would play out, in teamfights tes has to walk into drx to get into range or cait will just outrange them and poke them out, and if tes walk into drx then it's good since they have the immovable frontline to peel and buy time and kindred gets to freely auto once tes walks into their her range
@@zhangchen2936 hmm I don't think it's outdated tbh, you could see in this game that the style he was describing works, drx 100% could have won this game if they followed that plan, I know ppl love the lpl skirmish style, and I do too, but in this game drx were vs an lpl team and the game was not bloody at all bc drx conp made it very hard for tes comp to engage, all the edges tes got were from drx fishing for fights they didn't have to take and blowing all their cooldowns offensively vs defensively like they should have, this "just wait" mindset is still very valid with certain comps and can win you games, again I can see how you would argue against this when you watch lpl and even eu and see the success they've had, but I don't think it crazy to look at this game and the way it was playing out and not see that maybe if drx had just waited till drake instead of randomly fighting mid and blowing their ornn/galio ult offensively in an awkward engage and just used them instead when tes would have to contest them at drake and have tes and play into their (meaning drx's) range advantage and better peel options where drx would have had more control over the situation
@@alimac7374 I think DRX did not blindly initiate those fights in mid. What I felt was their lack of confidence in late game team fights. There could be multiple reasons, an obvious one being the difference in dmg output on both sides (in late gmaes). DRX relies on cait + kindred to be their dmg dealer, whereas TES could easily have 4 dmg dealers: graves, orianna, vlad, and ashe. TES could use Baron/dragon to force DRX into locations where Vlad could easily flank and engage. i know you could say kindred's ult counters vlad's but then ori's ult would be a deadly threat as long as they are not used all together at the same time. I think both team knows this well and that's why the pressure was on DRX side. You can never one shot a fed vladimir, but he could one shot u in like 2 seconds.
@@alimac7374 I just find it very very unprofessional for LS to not recognize this fact and flaming DRX for making aggressive moves. You can see how powerful a free-farmed vlad was during that dragon fight. And his point about "false" itemization was wrong as well. It doesn't matter vlad vamps 1100 hp or 550 hp, as long as he has pool and zhongya, they are not gonna kill vlad, the thing that matters lot more was for cait to be able to survive vlad's Q+R, hence the Mr. I think LS was not dumb, but he was so into his own train of thought, and so one-dimensional, which made me really mad watching his video. After all these years he's still flaming the winning LEC/LPL team as if they were being lucky and boasting about his own LCK slow-style strategy. I appreciate that you and I could talk about this with cool mind. I have nothing against LS personally, he's an amazing caster, but just his theory got me tilted hard.
Early game cait can't keep up with jinx' waveclear, since her rockets kill of your minions pretty quickly with minimal mana consumption and poking her down does little effect. Mid game her attack speed from minigun and her overall damage is way higher than cait. And late game... well one reset and it's over, which is easily achieved with all that rocket splash damage. Couple Jinx with a Nami or Lulu and ithe game is basically already doomed.
hey ls, i agree with u that drx have better late and is hard to engage to but i think that if manage to bluff a fight with drx so they waste their ultimates u can easily fight them when attacking from multiple positions because they will lack dmg and key disrupt fights abilities like : ornn ult, galio ult, kindred ult, bard ult.
which is excatly what tes did after doran creating a fight where drx wasted all of their ultimates on nothing to gain for (+all of them missed or not used well) and then they punish them. minutes 26:40 - 27:17

this man really said jinx counters cait.... in what fkn world LS will jinx be better than cait. Oh yeah and Velkoz counters Ori NEMESIS. PICK IT AND GET REVERSE SWEPT.
Couple Jinx with a Nami or Lulu and ithe game is basically already doomed.
tuvshno and LS Pog. DRX not so much.
Maybe im a bit slow on that one but why does it show ezreal on 16:00 instead of Caitlyn?
