    @ 17:01 ...... I worked at the Olive Garden restaurant......They relocated me to Atlanta 30 years ago .....I felt limited living in Montgomery.....

    When I moved to Montgomery in 1980..................Vaughn Road was all country ,, Maybe a few subdivisions , but no shopping centers and only a two lane road.......

    @ 14:19 my last childhood home......Brighton Estates......1980-1984........My parents lived there till 2000 ish.....

      were back in Florida. Montgomery area was a very hateful place some people were great but the hateful ones made it bad.

    I love the Smokey Mountains NC/Tenn...Absolutely beautiful. My husband is from there, and we go at least twice a year. A different laid back world, with everything I need, and family comes first. Florida will Never compare to those Mountains, Streams, and Waterfalls. If my grandchildren were there...I'd be gone in a minute. I love a slow pace. Alabama seems nice. Best wishes.

    Wow - Whole Foods, Publix and Stein Mart - you could actually be at the intersection of US 41 and Vanderbilt Road in North Naples! Yeah - I could probably live in that part of Montgomery, Alabama. Good luck!

      Exactly. I grew up in Tuskegee which is 30 min away and Montgomery was always segregated. I'll say it integrated in 2000.
