Absolutely love sibling videos and this one something quite special. These siblings went through a lot and sadly don’t all get much attention. Good work and great song choice. 😌♥️
@@growingstrong1009 I wouldn't but I also wouldn't sacrifice my country's interests for anone's greed let it be mine or my family's... She was eighter like them, a greedy selfish narcisist or a terrible Queen consort - SHE was supposed to rule her family not the other way arround smh -
This video is absolutely beautiful. I am confused as to which of the York sisters attempted suicide. I've researched this family intently and neber came across that
None of them did, but the clips were from World Without End and I thought it was an interesting story point for the video so included it. It is supposed to be Anne of York, the first wife of the Duke of Norfolk and she hand no kids to survive her so thought it made her more poignant. Completely artistic license on my part, sorry for any confusion.
Holliday Granger's character in this video wasn't Kathryn of York. The clips were from a show called The Borgias where she played Lucrezia Borgia, but I do get that you were trying to show more being that Elizabeth overshadowed her siblings since she helped build the Tudor dynasty
For the people talking about the title people back then spelt their names many different ways for example Shakespeare he sighed his name many other ways as well
Elizabeth occasionally was known to sign her name with different spellings - which explains the 'typo'. I think it may have been quite common in medieval England to do so :)
Which York sisters were you representing here? Elizabeth, Cecily, Bridget (I’m assuming the nun), and I think in the comment you said Anne? Any other ones?
That scene was actually from the miniseries, "THE BORGIAS", obviously about Spanish cardinal who rises to power to become Pope Alexander (I believe that was his religious name.) The woman pictured was briefly the lover of Cesare Borgia, son of the Pope.
I will be honest here...Lizzie, you killed your brother. I know it was not easy, but you let your husband kill your brother. And you thought your mother loved him more than you. I don't like you, sorry
She tried to save him but the Spanish were adament. Maggie giving them the letter sealed both mens fates. Then she tried to help him escape but he stayed. She could only do so much
@@disuwa7500 It's still a sad thing that could have happened. Honestly, I do believe the princes died in the tower at the orders of Richard III. It was a different time.

If you had sons who were heir to the throne, and your ‘brother’ comes back saying the throne was his, I would take my children’s side, Like Elizabeth of York’s uncle Richard he probably killed the Princes in the tower. I really love it! This dinasty was a great story, love everything!

Incredibly moving tribute to the last of the Plantagenets.
It was MARGARET PLANTAGENT for god's sake, not Woodville - who-had-doomed-the-Plantagent-reign-with-her-family's-greed 's daughter

Elizabeth WOODVILLE....... not "Wydeville"
Elizabeth occasionally was known to sign her name with different spellings - which explains the 'typo'. I think it may have been quite common in medieval England to do so :)
wydeville was used too in the middle age...The father of Elizabeth was called Richard Wydeville in some documents too.
That's how she would have signed it. Old English.
2020 anyone?
Beautiful

Kathryn and Mary as well, there is a list at the end with the actressses used as well.

Woodville
WTF wood-live. Come on Woodville

There was no right or wrong way to spell names then. I just chose the spelling that I've found used more in that era, no harm is meant.

Sarah Gadon from World Without End
Its Woodvile
Makes good cinema but that wasn’t Lizzie’s brother in real life. History knows he was a usurper.
Woodville
Woodville is the modern spelling. Even some of the Woodville family spelled it Wydeville or close to it.
