The real issues is this white centered music industry has no space for an outspoken Black girl Like Azealia. She didnt have the support necessary to support not only her art but her freedom of expression as a Black woman. Super talented, educated at a top performing arts school in NY and ahead of her time musically.

I love listening to hear speak despite the fact that her accent switches up in every video. I have always wondered if that has something to do with mental illness or repping the effects of spiritual abuse.
Azealia is one of the most talented and versatile artists I have seen since the 90s! I think she’s a total GENIUS, I still wish for whatever internal battle she’s fighting she’s able to heal from.

My introduction to her was the 2017 beef with Sky and I didn’t know who she was and immediately was angry with her and when I expressed that to my children and nephew who knew who she was they put me on game and I’ve paid attention every since. Still rooting for you mama 💕

Lots of lighter skin, or non blk, rappers say wild, unpopular opinions. Some do/say bad things. The house slave card never declines. Neither does black male worship. That’s why they scold Azealia(despite them being slightly above her in the pecking order).
