After seeing how fans of both games came together and made their own canon about Isabella and Doom Guy being friends (due to the games releasing simultaneously), both Nintendo and Bethesda came forth on social media and agreed that their friendship was canon seeing how the idea brought two fandoms of two completely different games together.
I love this song. I have nostalgia for the ACNH theme, but not because I liked the game. Frankly, it felt lacking, but maybe I overhyped it. Anyways, the nostalgia is because this came out six days after my birthday and the day after my best friends birthday. "Like sister and brother, we learn from each other." Coming back later, it's funny to think how that they felt than like siblings with one another seeing as it's legitimately canonical that they are married now.
When you think about it, this unlikely friendship makes sense. Isabella spends all her time being a secretary as well as trying to help keep a town running without much of a break. It's only obvious that she'd probably want a way to blow off some steam. And Doom Guy spent much of his life going to literally hell and back on multiple occasions, slaughtering countless hellspawn. And seeing how his first trip to hell was to avenge the death of his pet bunny...it make sense that he would love nothing more than to live a peaceful and normal life and the added cute/friend animal neighbors is a added bonus.
I'll admit, I'm not too big on Animal Crossing. But the fact that seemingly everyone in both comunities are completely on board with Doom Crossing (not to mention the mods that put Isabella in Doom) realy warms my heart and makes me laugh!
