The deck is an all-in combo deck with a ton of tutors and the only plan b is maybe Ugin, but we all lie to ourselves to feel better xD
Fair decks are defined as decks that pay the mana cost listed on their cards to win. Dredge and reanimator are unfair decks while this is a fair combo deck.
@@christopherwoodbury7520 jokes aside, there is no such thing as a definition of a fair deck. Monobred aggro was concidered unfair when it became a thing

@@DimT670 you also pay the mana cost for heliod walking ballista, or vizier druid combo. Cheating mana costs is not the definition of unfair.

I find it amusing that when I first saw Chain of Smog, I liked it because it could be a neat card in a 12 rack deck that likely has 2 racks out by the time you want to play this, actually *hoping* the opponent will choose to copy it vs you, so you can catch them. Unlikely to work, but rack can trade cards and definitely come out ahead, but most people should just take the 2 and accept it, at which point it's a worse (but easier to cast!) Hymn, and Hymn is a good Legacy card, so I still am not sure if it was a bad card even before. Now it can do far more combo-wise vs just clear out hands.
I largely agree about Legacy, it is a surprisingly 'fair' format, it just happens to be really expensive to play it in paper that way. Just a playset of FoW is enough to make me shudder, useful as they'd be. If you want even singleton copies of the OG duals for a deck, they are stupidly expensive, and fetch lands are still bonkers (though I guess they are getting a reprint soon). That said, I think my best Legacy deck is a fair deck, aggro/burn. It's not actually much faster than my jank elf deck, which is about a turn (maybe 2) slower than actual Legacy Elves. Burn usually massacres elves though, since it can keep burning key dorks, so Burn always wins that match up, part of why I think burn is an underrated deck in Legacy, even on a quite low budget, as it can easily be done with just mountains for lands (snow covered has a lot of perks at this point though), and I can't think of any truly expensive cards that are staples in Legacy burn, which can threaten pretty early wins. I run Risk Factor, and I think helps a lot in the slower match ups, either vs control or creature decks that use up burn spells like Delver or Affinity (pesky Skirges!), since control can't keep countering Risk Factor twice, and many decks have no choice but to give you cards, giving you a reasonable chance at a Fireblast, which can end a game sometimes (Vs Death's Shadow for example, which has to give you the cards generally). I think if you have a higher budget there are probably better decks, but on a low one, Burn feels solid. Wow, that rant ran long!

Big thumbs up for legacy. Yes it's expensive in paper because of the reserved list but most RL cards aren't too bad online. Still not cheap but not too bad.

You should really learn to name Brainstorm with the front half of a blind Cabal Therapy so that the back half actually does something. :)
You should also remember that Force of Negation is common in Legacy, so don’t use kill spells against blue decks (like Swords on a Sprite Dragon) on your own turn unless it’s necessary.
This proves mono black got the best support with the green undertones in Strixe Havon
yeah the only bad thing of enemy focused set , sultai got a big ass upgrade , while white and red got scraps , kinda want esper to come back to be honest better than sultai yorion in standard

@@Draco9909 i hope , but B already got 2 mv doomblade again for the next 2 years ,although making it type focus is good cause maskwood nexus just blinks it , and angel and dragon are really type relevant in this standard, standard cant be save anymore as long as they have extra turn spell that can give creature they can always chain it to kill you on empty board and full life

Match 3 game 3, why not lead on fetch>basic forest>veteran explorer and then sac it to diabolic intent T2? Plays around wasteland effectively and enables a quick combo.
Yeah, I think that was a mistake on my part. Looking back on it that seems like the best line. Good call.
Punt at the end there could have cabaled sac lands onyx sac creature greatest power.

could also have used sedgemoor witch to make infinite pests with chain of smog, instead of onix and the planeswalker package, it is a human for cavern and can protect itself
