Do you have to initialise the unit before it detects the SIM card. Mine all of a sudden does not detect the SIM, I have tried other Sims with same result. Will be a pain if I have to initialise the unit and re program sensors and bell box again.

What do you mean.. Remove the pin code on mobile phone?

If the sim card has a Pin number that needs to be unlocked to use it the idea is to disable/switch off the need to enter the sim Pin, apparently this can be done if you put the alarm sim card into a phone and disable the sim Pin in the settings menu, then put the sim card back into the alarm system. Not done this myself yet but have seen posts on other video comments explaining this.
