Hey Marty awesome video!! I was wondering if you could make a guitar lesson for the song fast hand by Cody jinks just the electric guitar riffs tho. I can’t find any video lessons or tabs on the song and I’m having trouble trying to learn it by ear.

In all honesty, without all the videos on your channels over the years I dont know if I would have stuck with guitar. When you're starting out it is super daunting but your lessons have taken me from knowing 3 chords to learning some more intermediate concepts including theory. Cant say how much I appreciate all the hard work you do for these videos

Again, such a great tip! Get good at a few notes of a improvising, then expand from that, adding one more note. Love it! Start small, leave space....on your way to building something great!

My style.. technique.. and knowledge of the fretboard.. has been improving so dramatically every week just from playing along to your videos it's like unreal... I was stuck at a learning plateau litterly for years until stumbling onto your channel when I decided to buy a guitar when this covid mess started (I had sold all my guitars almost a decade ago because I was so frustrated).. now I have the confidence and skill set to basically attack any song, solos and everything.. I no longer have to hide behind the excuse that I'm only a bar and cowboy chord rhythm player.. thank you so much and keep up the good work :)

I found the best way to improve is to limit yourself to the first two strings and improvise up and down the minor pentatonic scale patterns in any given key. Really helps tie the scale patterns together in your head, and nail the root notes to finish a phrase on.
