During these quarantine times, you should look back at this puzzle and completely solve it. Many comments already pointing it out but there was more to this puzzle that you didn't actually get to. That's why there was another keyhole near the rod underneath the first keyhole.
As far as using “the shape of the lock to solve”...I think it is meaning to spin the lock between your hands (like a caveman trying to start a fire with a stick) this action would cause both of those pins to push out, allowing you to put the key in. Just something I thought during the video...keep up the good work man. Peace.
Hope you doing well in life whomever reading this, hope your health is good, and if you are feeling down just remember life has peaks and valleys, it's all about how we travel through them, stay safe and bless you ❤
I think there is more to this puzzle????? The tip of the key looks like it fits somewhere else also the small pin thing goes in the same area at the top of the lock.
Rob W there are one of these comments on every video. The solution said find the signature... he found the signature. What else is there? You’re reaching
You haven't been lucky. I solved this puzzle exactly the same way. The pins in the lock are kind of confusing. I also rolled it to get the key in. However it's not working very precise and 100% repetable, at least not for me. But who cares, the look and feel compensate that. 😜 Nice vid! 👍
I think this plus all your other vids are so cool and awesome because you can comprehend these pules so fast, Your videos have made me wand to get more puzzles like this and you inspire me to work harder and use my mind more and you help me know that the mind is the most powerful thing on this planet. keep up the great work. :)
I rarely comment before the video is finished... But I had to come here and say this That was the best 25 seconds intro you've ever created Mr Ramsay... Feckin well done man! Now to the rest of the video!
It's a chain lock. You place the end links into each of the slots. Also agree with Dylan Wold's comment regarding sending it to the LockPickingLawyer. I wonder if these lock puzzles can be picked.
I'm at 6:55 and I would look at the key more. Also my family trade is locksmithing. And I would focus less on the lock as a whole and look more like the cylinder as that is the focus of traditional locksmithing. That may not work in the end but I'm just going off of my experience and what at this point in the video I'd try. I'm excited to see how this thing works.
Although it was short, it might have been one of favorite intro's yet, along with the Breaking Bad themed one. The match changing from its normal state to burnt was dope.

I am addicted to your channel I've watch almost 1 year of videos over the course of the day. Great unique channel awesome. Thanks for sharing your hobbie !
Chris has resorted to using the premium card with the instructions to open the lock hahaha... desperate times calls for desperate measures. I believe the puzzle creator added the no banging no forcing especially for Chris.
To me one of the most facinating things about this channel is that, you don't have any clue of how to solve those puzzles but your thoughts and clues comes all together to a point where you literally have the solution on your hands. And plus your ability to stay calm. I would beat the shit out those puzzles lol.

I don't care what anyone says about these intros, they are easily one of my favorite parts of your videos. The videography and shots are insanely impressive and it looks sick!!!
It's a bicycle lock. You simply pass the shackle through the end links of a hardened steel chain and use it to chain up your bicycle. I believe Bosnianbill and lockpickinglawyer both did reviews of the unmodified version of this lock. It's extremely robust in every way except for the fact that it's somewhat lacking in pick resistance. The shackle slot in the center is designed to retain the chain link when it's in the unlocked position but the chain can be removed and replaced by inserting a piece of wire into that little hole underneath the rubber ring to fully retract the shackle.
They modded it a bit, if it's not entirely custom seeing as the lever doesn't go all the way out without clearing the two holes (the brass pin + the pin under the shield).
@@aserta That is the design. When new you open it and pull out the shackle then use the tool (the pin) to push in the brass bit and pull it out all the way. Then you insert a chain link into that slot and push the lock cylinder back in. This keeps the chain and lock together and you only lock/unlock the spot for a single chain link. The pin that prevents key entry and needs to be rotated around is the modified part.
Thanks so very much for your time making this puzzle solve! Thoroughly enjoyed watching as always! You are the boss!! You make Wednesday the best day of the week! Cool looking puzzle, one of the better ones I thought! Have a great week and can't wait for next Wednesday!!😎😎😎😎
Hey man, loving your vids, you’ve got me addicted! Just a thought, as a photographer for many years, have you ever tried two cameras for for you overhead shot? Just wondered because I love the shallow depth of field but feel maybe a second camera at almost the same angle (or very slightly different) with the aperture closed down a lot more just to help with some more detail. Just a thought man but I do love your content, keep it up!
Just by the name of this puzzlePiece, I can say that you’ve failed on the actual achievement of completing this puzzle... 🤷🏻♂️ But I might be wrong ..
Try putting a small glass window into the keyhole, Chris. If you're supposed to use the Shape of the Lock to solve (as you mentioned perhaps once in the video), then maybe there's a sill in dere. (Cyl-in-der).
"No random movement, no banging, no hitting, no force"
Me: Oh no, this is designed specifically against Chris!
During these quarantine times, you should look back at this puzzle and completely solve it. Many comments already pointing it out but there was more to this puzzle that you didn't actually get to. That's why there was another keyhole near the rod underneath the first keyhole.

Should send this to "lock picking lawyer" and see if he can pick the lock instead of solving the puzzle. Lol
Yeee😆
Exactly what i thought ! 🤣
This is a very good idea
Send it without the key
hahah Funny thing I was just thinking the exact same thing after I watched this hahaha
I've thought that about several of these type puzzles. Seems like it would be up his ally.
You have to roll it in your hands like you’re trying to start a fire to get the pins out of the way
Genius
Chris Ramsay I’m a Chris what can I say
Christopher Perez that makes so much sense
I think there is more to this puzzle????? The tip of the key looks like it fits somewhere else also the small pin thing goes in the same area at the top of the lock.

This video has another HUGE puzzle: how to focus the camera.
Chris, the rod was flint. The have to strike that rod on the inside of the lock with the key to make a spark. It’s an actual fire starter.
The puzzle is not finished. There is an actual fire starter.
You haven't been lucky. I solved this puzzle exactly the same way.
The pins in the lock are kind of confusing. I also rolled it to get the key in. However it's not working very precise and 100% repetable, at least not for me. But who cares, the look and feel compensate that. 😜

He ended time and ended his recording without replacing the rubber ring and cap! :/
Just enough to trigger me

That was the best 25 seconds intro you've ever created Mr Ramsay... Feckin well done man! Now to the rest of the video!
Soon as you said, "What do you think that means?"
I scream: "IT'S A CIRCLE!"
@ 4:00 I was thinking use the edge of the key where the groove is on end by the keyhole. Love the videos man, good stuff.
14:38 Dude Chris have you tried putting the key in the bottom keyway, on the brass coloured side?
Having come from a production background I absolutely
"Use the shape of the lock to solve it"
Is this a new kind of cult you just made, Chris?
It's a chain lock. You place the end links into each of the slots. Also agree with Dylan Wold's comment regarding sending it to the LockPickingLawyer. I wonder if these lock puzzles can be picked.
IT DOESN’T SAY NO SHAKING whilst violently shaking the lock
when he fast forwards it looks like shaking.. does that count?
BigBlue807 if you want it too🤷🏼♀️
Shake the lock but never shake the baby
good lord chris I just started the video and all I have to say is that you are one of the best B-roll editors ever. Seriously impressive stuff.
Puzzle: "No random movements"
Chris: *Starts to frantically moving the puzzle around randomly*
I'm at 6:55 and I would look at the key more. Also my family trade is locksmithing. You seriously need to solve the camera non focusing issue. Last video was like this also.
No kidding. Perhaps set the focus and leave or raise the camera very high and use the zoom for a greater depth of field
I think it's less the focus/auto more the lens. He needs a more forgiving lens.
Quit being so needy. I didn’t mind it whatsoever. Minor inconvenience at most.
Doesn't bother me. Not here for the camera I'm here for his content
I agree with you... And to those saying "here for the content not the camera" how the hell do you see any of the content when its so out of focus??
Although it was short, it might have been one of favorite intro's yet, along with the Breaking Bad themed one. The match changing from its normal state to burnt was dope.
"No shaking or banging" while he's shaking and banging it.

“Use the shape of the lock”

I remember when Chris’s had 100k he’s come so far, especially with video production. Good job!
