Don't you hate it when your figure drawing model keeps shuffling?
A plen-air film I made a while back in uni where the theme was finding figures in nature or sth :D Done within 48 hours :D
No figure drawing models were harmed during the production.

Enamoured with your art style. The focus on simple shapes, the “imperfect” line work how it’s connected with short lines and the slight shaking to it, i feel it brings more life to the characters!!!

This is why they tell you to do a comfortable pose when you're modeling for artists 😭
And now I've gained the inspiration to write a story about a serial killer thats an artist who hates models that move too much. >:)
They're an art student and their teacher has a heavy lean for using models and the frustration finally unlocks something in the student causing a killing spree. Ironically, they've found great inspiration in using the dead as models and become big in the art world for drawing such expressive poses, with such 'dead' faces. Years go by, and the missing people pile up. A devoted fan connects the dots, seeing people go missing coordinating with new pieces of art coming out, they're conflicted and dismiss the evidence, but mention it to a friend. The fan gets to meet the artist in person and is so excited, they're even more excited to have sparked inspriation in their idol, being asked to model for them. They're so ecstatic they forget about the strange circumstances surrounding the artists models. Their friend does notice and employs the help of a frustrated detective who's been separately trying to track all the missing people. With their now near complete knowledge, they realize the fan is in danger and it becomes a race against the clock to find their friend and catch the serial killer. The killer, who's taken great steps to cover their tracks, finds the fan to be the perfect, 'living' model. Creating a conflicting feeling within them. Killing and their art have become one, and the desire to create has been linked with the desire to kill. They try to play nice with the fan, drawing out their time together to avoid the normal routine they developed to kill models. Trying their best to keep up appearances and to control the desire to kill. The fan is obvious to this all, do completely distracted with the awe of being in the presence of a person they admire. The fan asks questions and they each get closer and closer to the truth behind the artists work. It quickly goes upside down when a warrant is placed on the artists head. The fan notices, while the artist does not. The fan feels a deep sense of loyalty to their idol and feels revealing them would be a betrayal. They expose the police's intent to capture them and divise a plan to evade them. The artist with their back to the wall, has no other choice but to follow along. Guilt for hiding their true desires consumes the artist and they reveal the truth behind their art to the fan. The fan is in disbelief, and has nearly disconnected from reality at the information given. This isn't the artist they feel in love with, and something has changed within them. The friend finally finds the fan, with the dead artist in their hands and a blood covered drawing. The fan, has killed the artist, feeling the only way to preserve the 'real' artist within the perceived corrupted one was to join them to their art. Recreating the first piece the artist became famous off of, and staining it with the artists blood. A cycle has been symbolically completed, the art in which somone has spilled blood to create, has been fed with the blood of the creator. The fan is given the death penalty, to the friends distress. After the fan's death, the friend produces a crudely drawn image, of the smile left on the body of their previous friend.
Y'all I wasn't trying to write a novel- That just happened omg. If you actually read and liked that, thanks! I've been struggling to write and random bits of inspiration have been hitting me like that. Also sorry! I wrote a whole story off of the creator's short lil vid 😭
