Nice review, the Black 5 is a classic and so glad you got one that runs well. I know the detail isn't what the newest locomotives have but it still looks the part. I wonder if you could easily black the copper pickups on the loco so that it doesn't stand out?
If I may ask I would like some advice as I'm planning to go back to N gauge after 15 years however I've only got a 2ft by 7ft board to use plus I was wondering is it possible to do double track without having to use first radius curves
Just checked on SCARM (a layout planning software) and it seems with just 2ft (~60cm) to play with you'll be forced into a maximum of 2nd radius curves, so yes unfortunately you'd need 1st radius for the second loop of track
