Speaking about the fact that they should tie X into the main games but also not burden people with tons of lore they need to learn. I honestly believe Project Exodus in FR and X are the same event and X is going to recontextualize what actually happened on earth. And Xenoblade X is just going to be a completely different adventure that doesn't concern itself with the other games for now.
I really don’t think XC2 Definitive Edition is a good idea. Remastering the first two games makes sense, since you wouldn’t be able to play them on the Switch otherwise and their original releases don’t hold up quite as well as the other games visually. Remastering 2 would be a pretty bad move, especially for a niche series like Xenoblade. If the next system is backwards compatible, I see no reason for it at all.
