    Love the "normal" Tuono 👌

That V4 Tuono with the windscreen is perfect for me. Only thing is I don't love the colors, but if I was in the market for a new bike today, I would still definitely go for it

Couldn’t agree more. I personally use my bike for a bit more than just hooning around so those slight quality of life improvements are a big one for me.

I wish the regular Tuono didn't come in accountant silver but a more appealing color.

comes in white and silver, both of which I agree are a little underwhelming. Would be perfect in black, guess there's always next year. ;)

I'm hoping they add another color next year

They don't want anything too splashy or there won't be any 'settling' on the base model. People will flock to it.

The “accountant silver” is an extremely classy color that many people appreciate more than other “appealing colors”.

I saw the non-Factory in “accountant silver” next to the factory at my local dealer, and ASNF looked surprisingly good and the silver frame and swingarm was much less prominent (which is something I do not like about the Factory). Also much prefer the non-bright orange wheels on the NF. For me, an ASNF with the Factory wind deflector, some CRG bar end mirrors and take off the rear grab rail and pillion pegs would be great. It would be a great replacement for my 17 S1000R - but more power, updated electrickery, a lot more soul, and far better acoustics. Probably slightly worse fuel consumption, it a stop every couple of hours is good

Picked up my new one 2 days ago from the fantastic Brighton Moto here in the UK. The customer service from Kevin and Vicki was first class. The Tuono is super fast and smooth, comfortable and looks and feels great. An absolutely brilliant bike for the money.

I own the predecessor. I'm not sure about the new looks. As Jamie says it is an outrageous bike. Just tickles the right sensations. Quite easy to ride, too. Although it gurgles a lot of petrol. Apart from a Brembo brake pad recall no mechanical gremlins in 10,000 miles.

Wheelie control getting you there at the end! :D Let's hope Aprilia make a V4 Caponord next!

Jamie is spot on with the regular Tuono. Would love it for some moderate touring and canyon riding. As cool as the factory model is, if I every become a skilled enough rider to need that premium suspension, it will only be at the track and I'll probably already have a dedicated track bike so I wouldn't ever need the Tuono facotry.

Grazie per questo fantastico video! Grazie ad Aprilia per averci dato l'ennesima fantastica Tuono! Questa è la dimostrazione che in Italia, oltre alla pizza, sappiamo fare bene le cose...un abbraccio😘✌

After several test rides and much research on Ducati’s Streetfighter, the Tuono had a marginal edge. Cracking review, Jamie. Cheers mate.

Lovely machines. But the standard model comes in boring colors. Come on Aprilia, don't get like Triumph (boring monotone colors) put some nice paint schemes on it.

They really need to work on dealer network next. There used to be 3 dealers and they all have disappeared.

The bar risers are 20mm higher on the base model. I’ve swapped them for the factory ones and the factory screen just for the looks.

unfortunately the new tuono is moving towards touring and it makes me sad because we want the mental bike but not everyone can afford the 'factory' price
aprilia should make a tuono R
normal one is more for touring
tuono R for for people that want the looks of the factory without the fancy suspension and other bits
tuono factory for all the bells and whistles

I really can't understand why Aprilia is still waiting for a multi v4 brand by Aprilia. Really can't understand. I have the v4s but I'm shivering just with the thought of an Aprilia v4 in a real daily use crossover.

    • @AkumuX

Piaggio saw the failure of the Caponord and thinks the Tuono GT would fail. They can't have that because they would need to make a new subframe, frame tweeks, longer (different) suspension, big gas tank and all of the like and they don't want to put the money out for it. Ducati has money to burn, by comparrison.

Aprilia for the sound and proven engine that you can actually ride long distances with, Ducati for the looks and show off factor at your local bike meet.

I have the new tuono, my friend has the v4, I’d take the v4 over tuono any given day even if my legs burn off while riding it with all that heat coming off of it 😂. I rode it for 20 mins with shorts to test it and I had to get off the hwy to cool the calves before jumping back on it. That heat is no joke but the bike is so good looking

    • @geopolitix7770
      @geopolitix7770 Рік тому

@rubencubano1467 this may surprise you but I'd wager the Aprilia Engineers looking at heat output were assuming that riders smart enough to buy a Tuono would be smart enough to wear proper riding gear on their legs as well. Mine is absolutely fine wearing synthetic or leather.

I want the new headlights on my bike. I wonder if that front fairing and headlight assembly would fit on the older models? Mine is a 17.

The "normal" V4 could have been a great sport tourer, but without a movable screen, electronic suspension like its RR bigger brother, and (boy, did Aprilia ever butcher this one) thoughtfully fitted panniers it's just...well, a Tuono light.

Sport Touring Tuono with only 135 miles of range. Aprilia just doesn't know how to make efficient engines. Many other manufacturers know how to get the same level of power without the abysmal 28mpg.

I'm a huge Aprilia fan and I daily ride a 17 rsv4 RF, as much as I'm a biker as I don't drive cars at all, I can't get on board with these pretend softer sport bikes.
