The only thing that will heat up to a low level is the motor. It's a "do nothing" assemblage of parts. Cold solder joints with a soldering pencil. No fluid in the plumbing to carry the heat tot the radiator. No check valves to control the directional flow of the non-existent heating fluid.

  • @LuisMarquez-SOA

The system doesn't even need fluid to head up.... it's a miracle!!!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Yeah I know.. but... it's doesn't even need a proper voltage reading just resonance at a low voltage. Eddy currents are produced at the copper coil and magnet. Once the eddy currents propagate through the aluminum ... the aluminum heats up because of it's properties. Aluminum melts faster using magnetic resonance.

You need neodymium magnets. You're only getting one pole here. You want a disk with multiple square neodymium magnets with alternating polarity
That will improve the heat output exponentially

It is the opposite of making a DIY air conditioner out of an ice box with a new radiator to push a liquid, the same as pushing ice-cold water for the fan breeze. Opposite.

People here must realise that this would break the laws of physics. The output of this would at most equal the capacity of the two batteries. Your energy conversions looks like this Chemical>electrical>mechanical>magnetic>mechanical>heat. With losses at every step. This would only make sense if the the magnetics are driven off wind, hydro or solar or stored energy from either. The energy to heat has to come from somewhere.

    • @paradiselost9946
      @paradiselost9946 Рік тому +1

      @@theharbingerofconflation
if you have something rotating for free, its... a method, though the whole concept needs to be re-evaluated.
as OP says, a resistor is 100% efficient. all the power consumed in the resistance is dumped into the water/fluid/whatevers being heated.
a heat pump can sort of break that, with a cop over 100%. seems like black magic, but the best way to think of it is carrying a petrol can. you use some energy to convey a large amount of energy but you dont use any of that, CANT use any of that actual energy you happen to be moving... anyway.
this idea... as it is, its useless. induction heating equation... you got conductor dimensions, magnetic field strengths, and FREQUENCY. most variables being squared, for a doubling of frequency you get approximately 4x the heating.
the motor spinning the wheel is only 50% efficient, give or take.
      its speed is limited.
the frequency is simply the number of magnets x rpm. you find it gives very low figures, even with hundreds of poles. tesla managed to get 10khz with specially designed alternators with hundreds of poles and just had major issues at every step. as you increase the number of magnets they have to be smaller, or the wheel gets larger.as the magnets get smaller the flux density reduces. as the wheel gets larger the critical RPM lowers. no matter how you approach it, theres always these limits popping up.
then theres heating of the alternator itself due to eddy currents induced...
the one thing that WILL work, as i use it myself for a dyno, is to replace the coil with a simple slab of copper. need lots of iron in the magnetic path to reduce reluctance, and get maximum flux density in the gap through which the conductor passes... having loose magnets waving freely in the breeze wastes 9/10 or more of the magnetic force...
it works as a dyno simply because the eddy currents and the lenz effect gives a very nice braking effect. and damn, does that disc get hot!
if theres no braking force, theres no power being consumed. whereas, trying to hold back just a little honda engine of 10kw, thats 10kw of energy being produced in a 1/4" thick copper disc about 5 inches in diameter! (wait... im metric... what are those alien units?)
with plenty of copper, the eddy currents are free to circulate as they want to, with no concerns about pipe, thin walls, etc.
as the copper gets thicker though, the flux density in the gap reduces as the reluctance of the magnetic path increases... and as the copper gets thicker, the speed required to produce the same heat is reduced, but as the flux decreased the rpm must increase too... more catch22...
at this point, the heat generated is a direct indication of power applied by the motor.. as is the current required in electromagnets to produce a given braking force... or my first attempt with permanent magnets, the gap between magnet and disc. i found the heat fried my neo magnets. lol.
the whole idea is to get as much flux as possible cutting the conductor, and then rapidly alternating it.
without enough flux, theres not enough eddy current produced. without enough speed, theres not enough eddy current produced. without sufficient conductor, there isnt enough eddy current produced. end result, theres no braking fore, and no work is performed.
the "rate of change", EMF being the number of lines cut per second per conductor... the more flux cut in less time is more EMF or eddy current or power or heat or whatever...
slightly more complex than "waving magnets past a wire".
its all very straightforward when you actually think about it.
anyway. its absolutely pointless unless you have something thats spinning away doing nothing of any use as it currently is.

Yea you can but not with a soldering iron. Lol. You need the right flux and silver solder with quite a bit of heat.. but yea, its done all the time. Look at your central air coil inside. Its likeky aluminum with copper piping to the outside unit..

Stick a resistor in to replace the motor, and you may achieve something.
    Resistive heating. 100% efficient.
    Inductive heating...
    Well, theres the motor... 50%.
Then theres the poorly coupled fields... 20%...
100% sure seems more effective than barely 10% if lucky.
edit. the actual HEATING of an eddy current is resistive, and is 100%. no transmission losses, any friction only helps. sound must be the only loss?
the problem here is the way the magnetic field interacts with the conductor.
if it simply oscillated back and forth within the coil, it would work fine. there would be a lenz reaction upon the magnet, and the force required would be proportional to the heat produced. power, energy, watts, joules, calories, heat.... mmmmm, heat.
theres no other way to arrange this magnet style to produce the eddy currents required. actually, there is, flipping it over. ie, dont rotate the magnet on its central axis. on the other axis!
come up with a free way to spin a magnet the right way, and its actually a very sensible idea. ahem... wind...
as it is? its a joke. a scam.

The iron radiator is a resistor. The " poorly coupled", yes, the copper aren't aligbed with the spinning magnet :/. But this can work a little bit.

If you watch till the end you'll see the heating radiation emitted from the fins of the aluminum cooler. The whole objective is to heat up the metal by using magnetic induction spinning a magnet close to copper that's connected to the radiator. At the end the digital thermometer shows the heat gained from the process.
