রাফেইল ডিল কেন হলো না? What Happened to Bangladesh’s Rafale Fighter Purchase?

French president Emmanuel Macron completed his two-day Bangladesh visit. During this visit Macron sought to deepen ties with Bangladesh. Some even said the visit may have a political and strategic significance ahead of Bangladesh’s next general election expected in early January.
A letter of intent was also signed to provide Bangladesh with an earth observation satellite system through cooperation between Bangladesh Satellite Company Limited, or BSCL, and Airbus Defense and Space SAS, France. Another letter of intent was signed to purchase 10 A350-900 passenger jets from the French passenger jet manufacturer Airbus.
But no discussion was held to purchase Rafale fighter jets or setting up any facility to produce satellites in Bangladesh. That is a complete hoax made by some propagandists close to the regime.
