I dont think defying the entity once is enough to get all those hooks in, i think that evan handed out mercy enough times to make the entity reconsider renewing his contract
Tbh, Trapper, Spirit, Hillbilly, and 2/4 Legion are characters I feel under different circumstances would be survivors. Example, had Spirit's father not killed her, I imagine alternative universe, he's the killer, she's his survivor... Really sad honestly
It would be pretty fitting if he was a survivor. He let them escape so he has to take their hooks, and to remind him of where he stood at one point, but that would also inadvertently dissuade him from trying to make people stay, so that they won't have to do what he does
That was unexpected yet incredible comic, each certain monster have a back story of abuse, false accusation, abandonment, and deep down they want piece freedom from their torment, redemption. But deep down their trapped in their own state of mind of vengeance, rage, no one has even tried making a game were there is only one person that can send these spirit to heaven after waking up from their nightmares of torment & while other spirit before death committed horrible crimes send them to hell for all eternity and never harm the Innocent souls again.
Those different voices are so telling. I actually feel bad for the trapper here. And obvious but not needless to say; love the sound design. It's fun to see you take on different projects!

When look at it most killers in dbd are just victims in of themselves there's of course killers like trickster or doctor who are cold blooded serial killers and killers like nemesis who were made to kill but there's the trapper who was heavily abused, wraith who was put through hell and back over and over, and hillbilly who was stuck in a room for most of his life only to be used as entertainment for sick people. Makes you wonder why more killers don't resist the entity like trapper

The comic is based on dead by daylight a horror game where either the survivors (four players) must try and escape by the killer (one player) the characters the survivors and killers are trapped in this realm by some creature called the entity which feeds on the misery and hope of the killers and survivors. The killers job is to put the survivors on hooks so the creature can feed. The two characters in the comic are Dwight (the one with glasses is a survivor) while the big guy is a killer called the trapper (his ability in game is to place bear traps) the comic kinda goes into the trappers lore before he is captured by the creature and brought into its realm to be used to capture survivors that it also has taken long story short both the survivors and killers are in limbo where the survivors can’t really die . The story of the comic is when trapper finds Dwight him crying reminded him of a time where trapper was hunting with his dad (bit of a jerk) and trapper let the cub go so trapper did the same for Dwight by giving him the hatch (in game it opens if the other three survivors are dead or escaped it opens for the last survivor to get out but the killer can close it) so he let Dwight have the hatch and escaped but they will do this again bc no matter if a survivor dies or escapes they’ll do this game again and again the game is pc and ps4 ,Xbox and switch and on mobile it’s a good game
You have a wonderful habit of finding the most breathtaking comics and adding your own special twist to them! I love seeing and hearing what you put together. These kinds of things are really a testament to your talent as a creator!

It was only because of the strong vengeance she felt that made her a target instead of her dad. The Plague is another sad one. Adiris just wanted to save her people. She never meant to infect them. Edit: Why the hell did I think The Plague was called Adonis?!

Seeing Dwight terrified like that reignited some of that humanity Evan had back then, so he decided to spare his life. Let him escape. Just like the cub.
