    Great short term service to replace a missing tooth. Unfortunately, in 8 years the abutments will end up missing too due to decay! Creating cleanable embrasures in these kinds of direct restorations are extremely difficult if not impossible. Does not appear like a long term solution. I can see it as a short term solution while an implant is healing... but I can't see people spending the time to make this a hygienic pontic relationship. You may say some people can't afford a bridge; but IMHO, missing one tooth in the short run is better than missing three teeth in the long run!

      @lciummo1 Рік тому +2

      I don't see how this is any less hygienic than a tradition three tooth pontic restoration. But it certainly less expensive.

    • @AANasseh
      @AANasseh Рік тому +1

      @@lciummo1 Because the embrasure contacts in this product is toothbagainst composite Pontic whereas a three unit bridge is porcelain against porcelain directly under the solder point which is the susceptible area to inter-proximal decay. I hope I described it in a way that makes sense. Essentially, a crown covers the whole side of the tooth under the connection whereas here the connection is between enamel and composite where biofilm and plaque will attach and cause decay.

    I've made over 60 direct bridges myself (anterior and posterior, up to a molar) since 2002, up to now just 1 failure. advice: spend enough time on proximal shape/ using wedges to create space for interdental cleaning (interprox etc).

    What if there were noold fillings, then how much drilling and assaulting would you do to the adjacent teeth?

    I am not a doctor and I am not a Dentist:
    I don't think so. Looks good but, (1.) too many steps, (2.) don't think it will last are hold for long, 3.) I see this as a temporary fix to a bigger issue if you don't talk while you are doing the procedure and miss one of the hundred steps needed to be completed. Great idea, but not good enough yet. I would have to have some evidence on the procedure and how well it tests out.

    So deep grinding/splitting in a healthy tooth? A bridge at least does no split the tooth. .... but may take away even more tooth volume.

    this kinde of treatment I considering as
    transational treatment for next visit
    unless can be usefull for low in com
    customer.
    In fact; this kind of treatment will jeopardize the anatomical crown of
    suspected tooth for conventional
    bridge.
