With increasing number of commercial fishing for recent years there no more keepers from pier fishing in NYC. This summer all smaller sizes.
Nice catches! I haven’t caught a keeper at that pier this year yet but might try it on Sunday afternoon. Hoping to go out on the last day with a bang 😂. Tight lines!
Hope you get that keeper. One Tip I could give you is I will keep moving around the pier until you find them. Thats how I caught these.
congrats on 1k! Do you ever have issues mixing your soft lures? i've heard horror stories of people keeping all their soft lures in a container like that.
I only put gulp products in that container, so I don’t have any problems. But I know zman soft plastic should be separate, they melt if they touch other soft plastics. Thanks for watching bro always.

Bro caught these at the end of the jetty back to back and they were out for only 15 minutes and they look like this. Next time I’ll bring a stringer or cooler. Thanks for watching.

Bro, you need to take better care of your catch. Respect your catch, bleed them and ice them.. When you were walking off the pier, you could easily see how dried out that one fluke was just from lying out in the sun.

That pier is a scam. If you pay for parking already why the hell do you have to pay for the access too. I would never go there.
