JimenaArt101 Actually, the dress shouldn't be the last. The reason is, you never REALLY know what color dress you will end up getting. You might enter the store wanting a red dress. Meaning you want all of your tables or other decorations red. But, when you leave the store, you might have a pink, mint, blue, or some other color dress. My quince is in December of 2018 and I'm going to wait till the end of this school year to pick out my dress. That will give me 7 months before my quince. If I change my mind about the color, I still have time to change everything. Plus, the dress might not even be made until 3 months or so.

I'm 14, and I find this video really useful! I'm adopted and none of my family has any idea how to plan a proper quince (which is okay, it's not their fault) but I think that because of that- I'm going to make it a not so traditional one. Like I don't think I'll have the proper fancy dances but idk. I do really want one and I'm getting one but I just feel ashamed that it won't be so traditional. But at least Ik it'll be fun. Ajianna Jordan The two main dances are the vals and the surprise dance if you decide to have a court of honor, which I have a video on that I just uploaded right now if you'd like to know more about it :-) Your father daughter dance is also a big one and yes you can add as many as you want such as a family vals, etc :-)

Ive been asking my parents for a quince for about 3 years now and I'm turning 15 next year , and I've had a lot of great ideas , I even sat them down and I shared it to them. Everything I said they said no to it(they were very decent ).I guess it doesn't matter if I'm the only girl or not and the dedication I put to this event lol things don't always go how you always dreamed of
Girl, there are so many other things possible instead. I guess you can say we're in totally different situations, I want the money for college but I'm being forced to have a quince. Things don't always go the way as planned. :/ But keep your head up, hopefully you can maybe find something else in one of your other birthdays and it becomes as memorable as a quince would have been. And If I could have given you my quince, I would do it in a heartbeat.

Thank you , this video was really helpful, I'm having mine in about 9 and a half months ( beging of January 2016) *gasp* it seems like along time but it feels so close at the same time, and we have been planing for abut a year already and I have been looking at dresses since last summer (summer of 2014). This video really helped because we already have most of the big things payed for (like the place its gonna be, the food, cake, I think the dress, and stuff like that because we got a package deal at the place) and in june or july I'm going to get fitted for my dress and its gonna be custom made (which is pretty cool if you ask me) . The package was almost 2k, way more than what we'd think we would spend on the photography portion, but when we saw his work I was in love 😌 It came with a highlight video, a 2-3 hour video of my quince, aswell as a few bluray versions of it, the photo shoot and different sized pictures of the photo shoot, and album with pictures of my quince, the big entrance photo, and I think that was most of it ☺

This is a great video and when you said start planning 1 to 2 years before I was like whattt because we started planning my sister's 3 months before lol 😂. It's almost been 2 years since we had her quince and now we are planning for mine which is in August of this year so thank you for this video 😊
Ohh and to add onto this she lost a lot of weight during her practice for her baile sorpresa so for her final dress fitting her dress was really big so we kind of were going crazy because her quince was the week after that soo I hope that doesn't happen to me

Thank you , this video was really helpful, I'm having mine in about 9 and a half months ( beging of January 2016) *gasp* it seems like along time but it feels so close at the same time, and we have been planing for abut a year already and I have been looking at dresses since last summer (summer of 2014). This video really helped because we already have most of the big things payed for (like the place its gonna be, the food, cake, I think the dress, and stuff like that because we got a package deal at the place) and in june or july I'm going to get fitted for my dress and its gonna be custom made (which is pretty cool if you ask me) . But this video helped because that way I know the little things I would probably end up forgetting. Because I forget things... a lot

The package was almost 2k, way more than what we'd think we would spend on the photography portion, but when we saw his work I was in love 😌 It came with a highlight video, a 2-3 hour video of my quince, aswell as a few bluray versions of it, the photo shoot and different sized pictures of the photo shoot, and album with pictures of my quince, the big entrance photo, and I think that was most of it ☺
