I recently had to leave my job because of my status, i really was discouraged, i lost all the hope and want to keep moving forward, i isolated myself to get myself back together from that depression, now im back to the drawing board and this made feel more motivated that im not alone and proves that as immigrants you dont have to do what we have done for generations, that there are other ways. You are not the only i am also going this problem i had lost my green card , passport, an Jamaica passport . Social security office did not want to issue me no care without green card , but green card will take 18 months ,. I had to leave the job that had because i did not have card to give my job so they could fill out my I -9 . @Levek yes, I came in High school here, but I got the scholarship when I was in 11 grade so before my diploma. So in the US it’s not illegal to pursue education based on your status, you just won’t have access to FASFA and federal based help. However, you can have private scholarship, just search and search. For colleges they will try to deter you at first asking you for your proof of being legal, but if you can pay them, you’ll be all set.

Once you open a apply for an LLC you should be able to just use your business info or ITIN number But you can always accept payment through PayPal even though the they transaction fees are high. Also non citizen can get EIN even though you must get an ITIN before one.

Referring to starting your own business just register your LLC S-CROP or C-crop normally done online on the state website. Google the types of insurance that those businesses require or ask a professional trained on liabilities and insurance.
It doesn’t matter your status you should be paid your wage or what the caregiving rate is for although you are undocumented it does not mean you should only provided house and food. You have rights as a person unless that’s the agreement you choose.

Yes you can. This happens all the time while filling jobs applications. The only down side though, not every owners of a company will accept ITIN cards. Some do and some don't. Most of the time you don't even need to tell them that you have an ITIN card instead of a SSN. You can just fill out the form regularly by also putting your ITIN number in the Social Security section. It won't make any difference at all so long you have a valid city\state ID. I have no idea if I-9 Forms accept ITIN numbers though. They probably do I assume for as long as you're authorized to work.

most states that I have asked they would let you take the exam without SSN but still require a SSN after the exam. But I know that the only state that do not require a SSN to get the nursing license includes New York State and Texas

Heeey... I was an illegal immigrant back in the 90's... worked with a MADE UP Social Security number (not a real one stolen from someone)... I had Retirement and Medicare deductions from my PayChecks... then, I was out of the country for 19 years... Now, I just got back to the US, legally, with a Real Social Security number... I'm 43 years old with no Retirement or Medicare contributions history on my New Real Social Security Number... Is there any way, I could show Social Security Office that I made this mistake back then, and use those contributions towards my New Social Security number? Since my Former Employer and I did pay those amounts?
What you did was illegal it’s best to seek legal advice on this but from what I do know, if it was an error it’s explainable but it could be seen as fraud get different opinion though..

most states that I have asked they would let you take the exam without SSN but still require a SSN after the exam. But I know that the only state that do not require a SSN to get the nursing license includes New York State and Texas

Heeey... I was an illegal immigrant back in the 90's... worked with a MADE UP Social Security number (not a real one stolen from someone)... I had Retirement and Medicare deductions from my PayChecks... then, I was out of the country for 19 years... Now, I just got back to the US, legally, with a Real Social Security number... I'm 43 years old with no Retirement or Medicare contributions history on my New Real Social Security Number... Is there any way, I could show Social Security Office that I made this mistake back then, and use those contributions towards my New Social Security number? Since my Former Employer and I did pay those amounts?
What you did was illegal it’s best to seek legal advice on this but from what I do know, if it was an error it’s explainable but it could be seen as fraud get different opinion though..
@@sheisimmigrationhelp It sure is not right to use a made up number... but, it wasn't done with the intention of frauding the system, specially because I had those deductions taken from my pay check... I mean, I didn't do it to benefit financially from it... it was more like a desperate measure, as an illegal immigrant, who needed to work, listening to other people's advice (I don't blame them, we should be responsible for accepting the advices)... But, in my opinion, it was more like something done against Immigration Laws, in wich I have dealt with for the past 19 years, than financial fraud... but I could be wrong, I don't know the laws... As she mentioned, there are a lot of ways to work without having anybody check for documents. When customers go shopping they don't ask the vendors for work status.

The answer is Depending on your status. you may be able to work out a contract with them that pays a 1099 if your lucky.
