Funny, I already had all three lipsticks in my collection! Touch of Spice looks so much deeper on you. I always thought I had fair skin--maybe I'm just light skinned. I've started wearing it with a deep plum liner and it becomes this beautiful deep mauve that is really flattering to me.

I bought both the Maybelline Touch of Spice and Rimmel 104 about two months apart. The Maybelline one looked very dark and brown on me (this actually happens quite frequently with lipsticks on me), whereas the Rimmel on was much more of a deep natural pink on me. Love the look you created with these colors.
Pretty look! I just received a package from City Color Cosmetics in which I got two beautiful eyeshadows in the colors "Marsala" and "It's A Girl" and they are both beautiful and the marsala shade. They are the "Shimmer Shadows" collection and are on sale for $3.99. They are bigger than the usual round shadows from MAC or Makeup Geek. They are very pigmented and blend beautifully. I give them an A+++
My local chemist (in Australia) didn't have touch of spice or toast of new york, so I picked up Revlon's matte balm in 'Sultry' and it is such a beautiful marsala colour that I highly recommend! Definitely loving this colour

Also for eyes, Elf's long lasting lustrous eyeshadow in "Gala" is a great one. The Elf blush quad in "Dark" has some great Marsala colors, and right now with a 25-dollar purchase on their website, you get a free bundle of what they think are "Marsala" colors in their brand (with the code "Marsala")!

Rimmel's Kate line always disappoints me. Every one I pick up and buy is drying on my lips and looks cakey, even when I use a primer. I love the colors in that line, though. I wish I could find a good one! I'll just go for the other colors you suggested. :) For another color I find in drugstores with the Marsala shade is the NYX Love in Paris Palette Merci Beaucoup. The Red is warm and inviting just like the Marsala shade. Plus it has some great blending shades for it. Happy #FrugalFridayz !
SweetLillyMoon Thanks for asking about her! She's doing real well - she is waiting on her drainage tube to come out from the breast reconstruction. It's been painful, but she's a real trooper! They put a "balloon" in the breast pocket that was left after the mastectomy and the doc is extending it over the next month or so until it's large enough for the implant to go in. She's been telling me she is impatient but I keep trying to remind her it'll all be worth it! :D
***** That sure is quite an ordeal, I remember having a drainage put in after my bladder surgery when I was 12. I can't imagine having a balloon inside for that long. I've had 8-9 surgeries in my life it's not only physically difficult but, mentally as well. I will continue to pray for your mom, she sure is a trooper and what a huge testimony she has also. God bless y'all and I'm glad God restored your relationship with her, God's timing is always perfect.☺

On the drugstore side, what about Maybelline's Warm Me Up or NYX's Butter Lipstick in Pops? For higher end, maybe Estee Lauder's Tea Rose? Or Too Faced Spice Spice Baby and Sweet Maple? For eye shadow, maybe a mix of MUG's Bitten and Cocoa Bear?
I would say in between cocoa bear and bitten:-) brown script isn't drugstore but that's basically Marsala :-) or NYX single shadow in showgirl omg that is a gorgeous color! Or the cherry cordial shade in the first Choco bar palette :-)

Milani Bella Rouge eyeshadow looks a bit like the colours in the picture. I've been obsessed with mac cranberry and milani bella rouge for a while now. Both seem like they could work with this colour range. Do you think they'd work?
They could! Bella Rouge is a little more fuschia-looking to me, whereas Cranberry would be a little closer, but hey, anytime is a great time to sport those colors! :D

Hi Zabrena :) I love the pantone color of the year of 2015.. Tell me, what do you think about the MAC Fresh Moroccan lipstick as an example for this amazing color Marsala? Apart from the fact, that it has a frost finish (I personally like the matte, satin and even lustre finish more) I think it's definitely too gaudy, especially for the pale skin ladies, isn't it? P.S. Unfortunately, all the lipsticks that you are talking about in this video aren't available here in Germany :(

My mom started the reconstruction but did not finish she said it was more painful then the mastectomy :-)! But she's still gorgeous and I know your mom is strong and beautiful too! Those colors look great on you, but will the wash out on my slightly darker skin? For reference, I use NARS tinted moisturizer in St. Tropez in the winter as my "foundation" and just get darker (naturally) in the summer. Are there any darker shades you could recommend or would just layering (the blush, in particular) be advised.? I don't like to look like a clown (that would be creepy - LOL). try NYX hot shadow in "heat" its a dupe for Urban Decay's "sonic" from Vice 3. I find "heat" to be a beautiful marsala shade!
I also think the nail polish from Milani in 16 Mauving Forward is very close to marsala!
