This is the type of stuff that got me watching the channel. Hell I even bought a slip angle t-shirt. I hope to see some more driver and car focused videos. Where are the rotary cars at? Brap on
In college, I worked at this course as a flag marshal in the summer. Awesome little track close to Boston/Worcester, and really accessible and easy to find events to participate in. Now that I've graduated, I've imported an MR2 from Japan, and hope to finally get into real life racing after years of sim racing. Great content man, keep it up!
Quinn, not sure if you're already aware but if these were shot on a gopro you should try using the "spot metering" feature for that camera angle behind you. It will set the exposure to any "spot" in the field of view so you won't have those shots where u can't see outside the car because of how bright it is. The inside and outside of the car will still be visible. gotta love the raw driving videos, keep it up!!!!
the in cabin was with a Hero 5. I was so mad when I saw how blown out the footage was. I ordered some ND filters for it. Should I use them in conjunction with the spot metering function?
love it, what size are the contis? Those things were getting beat on! I am about to shred my 205 conti ECS's this weekend at NCM with the 313hp tune on my turbo miata. Then toss on some 245 maxxis VR1s and big wang/splitter and go for lap times. A bit of play and time attack.
This.... this is the stuff I subscribed for Quinn. You, your awesome car collection and your raw skill. Honestly... everything else involving your friends without you there just takes away from the awesomeness of your channel. I’m sure the algorithm would love you better if your content stayed more consistent and focused on you... Just my opinion.
I am still waiting for this motor to get the NB Miata treatment; shave the head for a 14:1 compression ratio, hot cams, ITB's, etc. And the prototype PP rotary for the red Miata!
Absolutely, these are just Continental Extremes but I'm not looking to win any races or set any times. Just wanted to have fun and enjoy the art of driving while we were there.
This is exactly the kind of content I needed. Just pure S2000 action. Awesome!
Yes!

Yes! More rotary stuff coming soon!
Always great to see the s2000 in action
What we've missing Quinn getting down
The rotation it seems to have is amazing !!!
A proper driver's car indeed :)

Very cool!
Great driving!!!!
Thank you 👍
So pure, so raw.

Yes, absolutely!
Making that car dance right on the edge. Good stuff.
This is the first time i've watched this channel in prob 2 odd years.. Mostly love the s2000s
Welcome back!
Couldnt wait to get home, do some home shit and finally sit down and watch Quinn tear it up in the s2000 in multiple angles 😍😍😍
Thank you Bobby!
A nice front splitter and rear wing would help a lot on a high speed course like this one! That engine sounds glorious though!
I like the busy playful nature of the car lol

Thank you but we are a team and I can't do this channel without them :)
Rippin!
What will happen to this now you joining Florida gang?
@@BitcoinTo150K I’ll be in CT for the summer at least. Life has been a rollercoaster lately.
@@DriveItRyan gotcha that's great! Love see automotive youtubers move south cause more content lol. Seen Gingium is moving Georgia too

It has a shaved head and thinner Spoon head gasket, BC stage 2 cams, just no ITBs....yet
Damn that looks like a fun car.
I didn't expect this video for another couple days. You got it up quick. lel
There are more videos from the day coming too!
It seems that you can be faster with some more grip. You have reached the limit of those tires. Other then that it's glorious.

@@TheSlipAngle I feel the same with my cars just try to find balance at limit with power, brakes, and handling.
More s2k content!
I imagine having a dog leg shift pattern would make the car juuuust perfect
But the S2000 gearbox is one of the best H pattern boxes out there :)
@@TheSlipAngle i know. I saw you shifting a lot between 2nd and 3rd. So thats why i mentioned it:)
Looked epic👍👌😎 - where were all the other cars though - or did they give you a couple of laps all to yourself?
Private day :)
Tsuchiya?
🤗🤗🤗
Which one is your personal driving favorite rx8 or S2000?
I love them both for very different reasons :)
@@TheSlipAngle I have a black S2 rx8..it looks like yours....awesome
I run there all the time - what kind of lap times you running ?
We didn't put the vbox in the car. I was on street tires this day anyways.
@@TheSlipAngle Got ya - looked...lively and fun. I ran Palmer today in my 996...Maybe I'll catch up with you guys at Thompson one of these days.
Do you run a clock spring on rhat car?
Yes I do
Lil screamer.... I dig it
🔥🔥🔥❤️
Was there a conscious decision made to set the car up like this? Seems unnecessarily unstable
Yes, for easy hooning on the street. I literally just threw the car on track without making any setup changes.
🏁🏁🏁🏁🏆
shes a screamer for sure....... N x
lol yes Neil. Yes she is
Good thing there weren't any porsches there forcing you to brake early.
or new gen m3s/m4s
lol
