Sonic Megamix Mania is a fan-made modification of 'Sonic Mania Plus', that is both:
- A Faithful Remake: Classic Mode re-creates the levels of the legendary 'Sonic Megamix' Rom-Hack with higher quality art, as well as touched-up level design compared to the original.
- A New Experience: Megamix Mode aims to take the core ideas/themes from the original Rom-Hack and give each and every one of them a new spin. This mode features entirely new Art, Music, Level Design, and Gimmicks!

Easily one of my favorite Sonic fan projects in recent time, and even though it's not yet fully finished it's already AMAZING. Mad respect to the team behind it!!

Sonic Megamix V5.0 had some of my favorite music tracks from any Sonic fangame, so hearing them remixed here is great!!!

Why did they change the music to this overly safe generic shlock?
This music is based on the tracks used in the final released version* of the original Megamix product, which replaced the Genesis-style tracks of previous builds with new CD-quality ones.
*technically the build in question, v5.0, was never intended for public consumption, but was officially released anyway after it got leaked

I'm pretty sure the Mania miniboss is just a placeholder until they are able to implement a new boss.
Im pretty sure modding new bosses into mania is very tricky anyway so
@@somerobloxdude3699 Absolutely! It's not a slight on the modders at all, more the frustration of the limitations of modding Mania. And the better their mod, the more frustrating it is.
