You can use Nivea soft moisture cream in day time, i did not experience any darkness problems with Nivea cream
You can first try with small package.

No it doesn't darken your skin in fact in my case since my skin became soo much dry and dull looking after using ponds hyaluronic acid moisturizer I use nivea and it restored all lost moisturizer of my skin and gave my face glowy soft and plumpy look

You have combination skin type. Go for gel based moisturizer. Gel based moisturizer will not make your skin oily.
