I already followed yr instruction including remove the right side of the small screw, put the square black metal at both side, registering my finger print at the mi home app, but still i can't open it from the outside with my fingerprint. No red light at the screen and it sounds like it tries to open but the tongue just didn't react. Could you tell me what probably went wrong. Am so curious. Thank you, you're being helpful so far🤗

Have you followed the instructions in the app? Follow the steps there to put the lock in bluetooth connection mode, also just in case check to see if you selected in the MiHome app the country as mainland China, only that way Will you find the lock in the list of devices.
gASTbbi it should work. Just make sure the door thickness is fine and if it’s a wooden door, you find someone good to cut to the right size(inside the door). I did it myself and I must admit, it could have been cleaner.

Manmeet S can you check if the door works when you have it open? I had the same issue, not with the door part, but with the wall part. The plastic that it cane with was blocking the tongue from opening fully. Worth a try to see if it’s the same issue
Bro. Would you know the maximum door thickness that can be installed on? I’m worried since most door locks has a max door thickness of 80mm whilst my door is 85mm thick.
Thanks for the video! It was very usefull! But we still have a problem and I don't know if maybe you can help us. Everything it's already working, we configured the door to push from outside and pull from inside, it's not already opening from outside with out entering the key. But we have to use the key to open the door from outside, it's not working the fingerprint or the numer key (that is already configured with the app). When I put my fingerprint it make a sound trying to unlock the door but nothing happens, the same with the key number. Do you have any idea of what is happening? I have another question. How do you broke the cylinder? Because in the video I don't see that you forced something, maybe that is happening to us and that's why the mechanism with the finger print and the key number it's not working. Thanks!!!
Avac23 if you broke the cilinder like I did it simply won’t tell you when you left the door open, it should still work. Did you remove the pin/screw that I was talking about? Can you send me video of what’s happening when you are trying to open it? What could be is the mechanism in the door, make sure the connector is pluged in properly. Also did you cut the the piece that turns the lock mechanism?
Влад, здравствуйте. Не получается настроить этот замок в приложении Mi home. Приложение видит его, я выбираю и следуя подсказке на картинке зажимаю на 3 секунды кнопку под батарейным отсеком. И дальше ничего. Женский голос что-то вещает из динамика замка. А в приложении - ничего. Хотя должно выпасть поле для ввода 6-ти значного кода. Хочу уточнить, что замок пытаюсь настроить напрямую, без шлюза. Захожу через шлюз Xiaomi Gateway 3, там такого замка нет. Может быть, нужен Bluetooth gateway и в его меню есть такой замок?

Means the door is not Closing properly, i had the same issue with the plastic protector for the door tongue, true removing it and see if it closes, or see if you wall hole is deep enough allowing the lock to fully close
I already installed this lock. Fingers map, password, child lock working good. But anti lock switch not working. I turn anti lock switch to horizontal position but the lock can open from outside by fingers or password. I had checked anti lock limit switch inside the lock no problem. Now i don't know why. Hi! Yes, that happened to me also. The small digital cylinder is broken, or the cable connecting it to the main lock. Meaning the system doesn’t detect you locking/unlocking. The lock still works. You can exit the setup and just go an define a user with a fingerprint/password without following the auto-setup.

audhy darmayo hi! Do you hear the mechanism working in the background after you type the password? Check if you have the door black piece connected to the inner door mechanism with the small square bit you cut (check out min 4:29, the piece I drop on the table), if you’ve got all those put together then it should work just fine. If it still doesn’t work try to take a video and sent it so i can see what’s happening.

Daniel Marques yes you can, there are screws on the inside of the lock that allow you to change direction of the opening, also the mechanism can be used on either side to open, just need to remove the right pin

mu fazain putting it back won’t fix the issue, that means you shouldn’t be able to open on both sides... Anyway, try to take a short video of what’s happening

stephen vassallo if you see on your screen just before you try to open it says your main tongue does not pop up. Means you need to check on the opposite side of the door if there is enough space for the door to lock properly. Try removing the plastic casing

You can only exchange the broken one via the xiaomi warranty. I wasn’t able to find the cylinder by itself.

From the video, you push the handle to go in. When you are in the room and want to exit the room, you would pull the handle. Is this correct?

The anti lock works for normal users only, not the admin.

Harusnya itu yg dilepas cuma 1 yg bagian handle pintu luar ya? Yg dapet pintu dalem ga dilepas ya? Trus td ak coba pasang lh itu sekrup-nya malah jd ambyar kuncinya. Huhuhu...
Ini jadinya ak beli lagi. Ada tips and trik atau step2 masangnya biar lancar dan berfungsi baik ga? Makasih mbak lia.

Daniel Marques yes you can, there are screws on the inside of the lock that allow you to change direction of the opening, also the mechanism can be used on either side to open, just need to remove the right pin

They don’t sell it separately. They only way to fix it is next time you’re in China schedule a repair via the mi app and they should change it for you

kalokb03 yes, after you add the lock to your mi app, then in the lock settings you can change it to english.

Check square bar, square hole at outside correct or wrong, on square hole has dot marking. I think you set square hole position wrong.

Not water proof, in the settings it says working environment of max 93% humidity, or so i found in the manual. But it doesn’t say anywhere it’s water proof

I cannot open it using one-time password. Does anyone have the same problem ? And mine seems to be very noisy when locking, is it the normal behavior ?
Does it work using the fingerprint or regular password? It does make a noise but it’s not very loud

@@ndangthieu let me give it a go and see if it works for me. Did you connect to your lock via the miapp and bluetooth when you generated the one time code?

mu fazain putting it back won’t fix the issue, that means you shouldn’t be able to open on both sides...

stephen vassallo if you see on your screen just before you try to open it says your main tongue does not pop up. Means you need to check on the opposite side of the door if there is enough space for the door to lock properly. Try removing the plastic casing

Hi vlad, thanks for the video but after the installation I had a problem with the locking system. It wont lock properly and it can be opened without any pin or finger prints. Does anyone ever encounter the same problem?

Did you remove the small screw/pin on the mechanism? I had the same issue initially. Once i removed it all was fine.
