Sheesh, just saw the rematch in 2019 and Rockwall won over Allen in a game where both teams combined for amost 120 pts and #11 went for 15 catches and over 250 yards for Rockwall.

SoCal has larger population than some states, so they still HEAVILY recruit compared to Allen who gets to choose out of whoever is enrolled in the school. Zero recruiting and most players have played together since they were kids. No public schools can compete with Texas and if Texas had a private school it would be game over

OSnowFox yeah you’re right the defense has been slacking all season. Every play by Rockwall in this game was a punch to the gut. They woke up in the second half but that’ll be too late in a critical game against a better team. Allen has made that mistake twice in the past 4 years with The Woodlands and Westlake. Allen D definitely has the potential to be effective because they seem to get their shit together 2nd half. They just need to make stops in the first and prevent an early lead.
