I don’t see him telling us to go to a website and buy merchandise. To him he’s just doing it for the fans. He was already making a shit load of money way before he started making these videos. He only does them literally during fight camp. That’s it. If he cared about making money on UA-cam he would be making videos all the time like Max Holloway And other fighters do. Only makes UA-cam videos during fight camp that’s it. That tells you he does it just for the fans.

And you clearly have no idea how making money works lol he doesn't have to have an ad or tell someone to buy something to make profit. He probably generates several hundreds, if not thousands, of PPV buys with these videos. The UFC knows this and it gets worked into his contract. If he only did it for the fans, then he wouldn't hire great talent to record/edit his videos and run his channel.....
