It has been a pleasure watching your videos every time you post from Ghana 🇬🇭. I have started my own sound system and your teaching’s has been helpful. BIG UP BOSS MAN
Buss them wicked Ernie Ranglin tune Syychronic. No one talks about Jamaica's great musicians any more , like Ernie, Dean, Chinna, Tyrone, Fully, Sly, Jackie Jackson, Jackie Mittoo, Tommy McCook, and MANY MORE. Respect Acid
Acid Big up love how u drop in pon dem but di best part is how u get u respect me swear when u do a video rather watch it n leff a movie sound system is my thing
Why do these sound guys keep the amps up by the mixing boards? I always put my poweramps in racks behind the speakers. The shorter the run of output from poweramp to speaker the least resistance you get a much better signal into the speakers. And it's doesn't work the poweramps as hard.
@@AcidSoundSystem my bad I understand now. You mean they set it up with all electronics up front for the people/judges to see. Thank you for answering my question. I didn't mean any disrespect I didn't understand that til now. It makes sense to me now lol
To my fellow sound men/women, we collectively spend millions to sustain our passion for sound. However, in our pursuit, we enrich everyone else but ourselves. Why don't we have a single factory anywhere producing audio equipment? Are we just a race of consumers incapable of doing what others have done for themselves? Stop the financial hemorrhaging!
Too much cut troat and envious people in the reggae music and sound system culture that's why we are not making any money from the business because you have some sound man playing for $300 all because they are fighting other sound man who are charging more money, and you have some of them telling promoters not to use certain people sound.
@@blackmamba-un2mv It's very disheartening to see so much of finances take flight to support others. We don't even have a major speaker cabinet manufacturer that can supply us with professionally made boxes. Where is our King Tubby's of today, maybe we are blinded by our selfishness to see the harm that's being done. Well let the Chinese and Europeans keep winning.
@makstaz79 Real talk general, other people who don't even like our music and the sound system culture is the ones making all the money from the business because we are only fighting and competing with each others for bragging rights and not being business minded.
