This. The Final stage for Megaman right before the X series. He faces the impossibility of defeating Zero, until revelations from Duo and the secrets of Casshan: Robot Hunter transferred to him. This music plays in the background and in this level he is (almost) invincible. The final track goes toe to toe with zero...and and defeats him...at the expense of classic megaman's life being saved by zero from BK1. the burai king boss. Zero refuses to go back to Wily, mortified that he gave his life for him. He promised to protect Dr. Light from threats by Dr. Wily (!), curious about his plan named "Project X". No one knows what happened to BK1. Both times it is said that "AI is still alive in BK1" (final 1993/1994 reference) After an update crept on to and transformed him into Sigma, he remembered it all and plotted his revenge. Sheesh I could have been a game designer at Capcom but nooo lol
