Crimson Slayer is slaying something HH. Triple hit A1 with a sleep, A2 hard hitting turn meter steal, A3 AoE heal reduction. Very usable against the Fire Knight and Spirit Keep.

Ive been playing for a few months and ive been struggling, I recently discovered the community on youtube and your channel & site. Ive been leveling a couple heros wrong and and leveling a couple wrong heros. It appears Ive had a bunch of good ones that ive had just sitting in my vault.
If you pull a Castigator, keep him. He has a great heal that ignores the block heal debuff, b/c it's an hp balance skill, that can happen in the rare hp secret room, then gets an extra turn for a good chance to taunt and assisting Gnarl Horn for rotation 3 (current). Decent control and keeping your team alive for the rare magic secret for rotation 2 as well.
I got him like 5 times now, and I fed him to every other heroes 😅

I wouldn't say 90%+ of the rares suck, it's just that (for most of them) their use is more situational. The S-tier rares HH mentioned are definitely worth it, but for the rest that he skimmed over, especially if you're FTP, they're still worth looking at before deciding to use them as food. Usually you'll end up with an epic or leggo who can do everything better, but until then that rare might be all you have. It turns out you'll need a lot of them for faction wars, if nowhere else.
No the thing is with rarest you have to be smarter with their armor the armors are honestly they aren't made for the higher rarities you can tell that the armors have been made for the rarest so it's about giving them the right set it makes them so they are useful each rare has a perfect armor to make them almost better than the four stars the epics
only one on the entire list i disagree with is Lifetaker. she's basically your way in to Fire Knight 25 if you don't have allure. multi-hitters everywhere, big version heal reduction, decrease speed and turn meter reduction, she's attack based, but brings a veil for herself for some damage mitigation, so not as hard to keep alive as most other attack based rares. basically, if you can't keep the FK from taking a turn, she's your non-leggo way into killing FK 25. base HP good for an attack based rare, and base speed very servicable at 99 as well.

Painkeeper also features in a budget Demytha-Heiress unkillable demon clan boss team. You use 2 painkeepers and a dps. Not the strongest comp, but can help you 2-3 key UNM.
If you pull Odachi early, you've got it made in the shade with the best Force champion you'll have for a long time.
honestly I six starred Kurzad for Geomancer in 15 Iron twins I was struggling to get his accuracy to that level but kurzad's kit solved it quite nicely.

This video helped alot tbh and came in perfect timing. I've been needing to clear out my champion vault of useless rares that aren't good or being used for faction guardians and faction wars. Thanks to this video I have a whole lot of food champs now 😂
Speaking as someone who 6 starred Dagger, she's the only reason I get anywhere in that factions' FW because her A2, if built correctly with good gear, NUKES waves. Her A3 is single hit but it's also good damage for a BL champ. If you can find leech champions to pair her with because she's so squishy, she's aces.
I am pretty sure that HH completely forgot about her kit when he said "no thanks".
Usually he values AoE decrease defense very high.
She is an absolute "must-have" for Faction Wars as long as you don't have Stag Knight.
I have Dagger at level 60, too. She doesn't match up with the good epic and legendary champions I've gotten at higher levels of the game, but I'd never have been able to earn those better champs if it weren't for Dagger. She's largely retired from my roster, but retired with honors. :)
Well done. Playing with this game after 4 years I forget about the good vs bad rare champions. Quick work for all the characters.
Love the vid, keep up the great work, one slight issue though. Hell Freak is an amazing champion, and HP swap, big dec def, and an all buff steal prior to an attack has helped me a lot in areas like faction wars and rare only hidden rooms, please review him
I feel like one of the other CCs recently mentioned Lifetaker as worth while for f2p in earlygame/faction wars at the start of this year's f2p series, has heal reduction/block. that being said, this video helps me as i'm getting to a point where i need to feed a lot of rares to free up champ space in my vaults and rosters
And FIREKNIGHT -- her whole kit reads as made for fireknight.

AoE Decrease Defense on a Rare Champion that also hits relatively hard? As long as you don't have Stag Knight, she's basically a must-have for Faction Wars. (lvl 50)
Lots of the rares you hate I’ve used in early game to get through a lot of the content because as a free to play player I hardly had any access to better champs.

Runic warder is not bad for early fire knight. Reflecting hits back to the shield. Helped me early on to get to stage 13

Kurzad has a very nice a3 to set up gnishak and control nukers (e.g Staltus a2) in content while progressing!

i'm a fan of Prosecutor (high elves), don't sleep on her!
her A3 is still one of my best weapons against UDK and the likes, now with Ronda and her A2 the job is easier, but when i started around past october she was the only one i could rely on.
i ended up making her my 3rd lvl 60 (after Athel and UDK) and is still among my strongest champions (well, my roster sux, but i made few other lvl 60 and only a couple of them surpassed her in damage and utility, like Ronda and Morag).
SERIOUSLY probably the best type of Video on RAID SHADOW LEG-ENDS This type of video really helps new players and those looking for new stuff.
I know there are lots of opinions and situations and LOTS OF Characters HELL HADES thank you for this its handy to have these every month maybe or 2 months to show the latest and it helps because we all have different characters until we get a few months and some LUCK. Love this one

Dagger was one of my first rares, and the first void on my account (F2P). Didn't have warmaiden, and I ended up taking Dagger to 60. I am about midgame (I think?), I haven't built out me Stag Knight yet, so I still use her all over the place. I hang out in upper Gold I, Lower Gold II with her, Artak, High Khatun, and Sun Wukong.

After building a roster over 4 years over half my 60s are rares. Still maxing rares as books are easier to get, plus it is, as Hell Hades said on an earlier video today, more about the gear than the champion. Finding those kick ass rares is fun. Hospitaller is way better than Chaplain! Gator, from lizards, for DT poison Spider is S tier. Grappler was my 1st poisoner for Clan Boss (so few poisoners to pull back in the day...), Malbranche is VIP for bombs as she ticks bombs quicker (v good in Arena), Grinner for factions as finding revivers in that faction is hard, just 6 starred Retainer for Sand Boss, and there are many more that can bring unique abilities to a team.
I keep a few Malbranche around for when I build my ultimate bomb team.
A slight disagree with Myrmidor, decent for faction wars actually.
And disagree on kurzard, he deserves a bigger shout out, all the others' agreed 🤝
4:58 Prosecutor I use in DT hard rooms, Rare Spirit room and Rare attk room. She has an aoe decrease speed

Ragemonger helped me early game so much for CB with the poison and HP burn.
Actually loving using Prosecutor in Doom Tower rooms. Kit is solid, hits pretty tough for a rare!
You need to take a second look at a couple...
SpyMaster - on Stew's 'uncommon only' series (that he bailed on), we could use rares if we could earn them from part of a fusion, and he was - he is useful with his AOE Block Buffs, plus multi hitting counter attack and provoke..
Cagebound - Ally Protection on 3 turn.
Cagebound only has 25% Ally Protection & 25% decrease ATK. Although these are super useful buffs for CB 25% isn't enough & it's better to 60 other champs 'til you get a 50% Ally Protection epic champ like Toragi, Rearguard, Nazana, Captain Temila etc
it's same stuff all over again with minimum changes. could just give a link to prev video and highlight new ones. But hey 26min of so called "content". Majority of CC's even on f2p series barely maxed out few of them ... but whatever

Channeler is a great early game speed lead in arena. 30% increase speed and turn meter fill is very valuable BUT only in early... Worthy of lvl 1, 3 stars and 3 ascensions plus some speed gear if you are lucky to pull him in first few days, Never 50/60 him cuz he is needed for fusion.
Prediction: Starter champ, Fellhound, 1-3 Coldhearts, Pain Keeper, Renegade, Bellower, Corpulent Cadaver, Hellborn Sprite, maybe Apothecary, maybe Paragon. Some of the other rares are sufficient to do a job but not worth taking to 60 nowadays IMO since plarium has added so many epics that are just better debuffers/healers/poisoners/etc. You're bound to pull some solid epics before too long. Personally I wouldn't take a rare to 60 JUST for faction wars, and rare-only doomtower rooms are low priority until the hard mode rewards get some serious buffs
Gnarlhorn and Soulbond for secret rooms, and i think your list is complete.
Frozen banshee, maybe master butcher and maybe bulkward for early clan boss?

Paragon is great for arena. Make him sturdy , mega fast and booked and no one can kill him. He'll be throwing that unkillable constantly

FYI: As a new player, the little play on names helps me remember when I pull them and wonder if they are good. The other day I pulled a Renouncer and said "Renounce yourself!"

Was almost a year of constant play before I got my first Apothecary.. and even at 2 years., I might be able count all on 1 hand 😶
Warpriest was my main healer for ages.. that much that Apothecary barely replaced her..

I love Req Tender so so much- I have her at 60 and use her a few places. Apoth remains one of my favorite champs because I pulled him early- within my first two weeks- and he pulled me through the game for a long time.
apoth is literally the best rare in my opinion, he helped carry me through my first year before i got shamrock 🤣

I've done, Kael, Apothecary, Frozen Banshee, Fellhound, Heiress. I have 2 coldhearts but I've always found 50 to be sufficient
I had a bunch, and pulled multiple epics before I did Rhazin.... now I just save a few for the others so I could get ready for some points if I want/need.

Gloril was one of my first sets of Rares, leveled to 40, and carried me through the easy and normal Campaign levels 1-5 and faction wars until I got better Champs to replace them.
My wife is a teacher and Candleguard’s look on her face cracks Mrs up… she says that’s the 5th period face. 😂🤣

Dolor helped me a lot in the very beginning of the game. Only got him to 50 and than got demytha. He has decent early game heal

Dagger has a aoe decrease defense on a 3 turn cooldown. How is she bad??
I can upgrade another legendary, but dont really know which one to choose. I got a krisk, brogni, sir nic, candraphon, jintoro, scyl, ronda and sethallia fully upgraded. I still have royal huntsman, iron brago, warmother, gurptuk, cillian, hakkohrn smashlord, tatura rimehide, ghostborn, visix, holsring, alexandr, roric, elegaius, kantra and Elva. Which would help me best?
LifeTaker helped me a lot for when Need anti heal champ. Cold heart too rare for me not have her yet.

I don't necessarily disagree on Witness, but I also don't regret getting her to 60. Her block debuffs got me through some FW stages and she was still on my FW team at 21 and in 3v3s for the absorb 5million dmg with shields clan quest. She'd really need a slightly faster cooldown on her shield or an extra turn on block debuffs and then she'd be good actually.
I put Elhain in a poison set, and now ahe smacks and every hit leaves poison to boot! this is great for those who have no buffs. I tried it in a few champions and now they are dangeous!

Gladiator can do Normal and Hard Hydra. I think he's good in a secret room as well. You said he sucked.

Castigator was my very first rare that came out of shards. I brought him up to level 40 and gave him immortal and life steal. Brought my FW team through the first boss and all the way up to the second boss
Dagger is almost necessary in a DT second rotation with all-attack champs, wtf lol Channeler is pretty good also for DT even on lvl 40
I discovered that the Coffin Smasher I had built could take Lvl 20 Borgoth solo. Had CH,PK,DE and SB with him. They all were out in 2-3 turns and he went toe to toe, not fast but it appears to be a sure thing.
No masteries, all skills lvl 60 ascended. Regen and Immortal
Healing around 10k a turn 🙂
Witness is actually quite underrated, she has a 30 percent of her hp shield and block debuffs on 4 turn cd and chance to double hit on A1 making it hard hitting. Castigator is hugely underrated crazy heals and decent provoke as a second provoke champ for hydra

HH, on my F2P account I'm only about 40 days in. I have landed both Atur and Kallia on ancient shards. Any chance you can comment in their pairing. I don't think I have ever heard of their being mentioned in the couples overviews. Worth building on an early account?

Mystic Hand also has the hp balancing heal.
Eviscerator attacks dragon when he does his inhale.
Crimson Slayer good for FK.
Runic Warder also good for FK.

When it comes to preserver there is the armor that you get on your first month with that armor she's single-handedly beats bosses long after everyone else is dead the armor heals her at the beginning of every turn I believe but anyway yeah she's one of the best rarest she's far better than elhain until you get the stun armor

I love these ‘reviewing all X champions’-type videos😁 I have to say, a few of the ones you dismissed actually have some utility (Castigator, Panthera, Lifetaker as a few examples), but still thoroughly enjoyed the video👍
Castigator is a FW beast.

I just took heiress to 60 to match with my Demytha. Got the Unkillable team rolling :)
I sacrificed some of the fusion cards to make space for stronger champs, etc.
How would you construct a faction war team for Shadowkin, then, if you just had the rares? Do a video for that!
A point of critique, particulairy when viewed through new player perspective. On everything that 'sucks' that litterally al that is being said. I've come to have a problem with the "making a statement, but without argumentation" schtick.
Dagger got me thru FW21…..not a complete waste of a rare imo
Few I disagree with, Candleguard hyucks pretty hard. Spymaster is definitely worth more as well. And I know you said you wouldnt say only FW people but Grumbler in place of Rearguard can help dwarves a lot
You know what I'd like to see? A content creator doing an ONLY RARE account. See how far we can get in Dungeons, Doom Tower, and Faction Wars.
That would be a great series. Doesn't need to be F2P, jut only rares (and lower)
