Because people like you weren't paying attention which allowed the Tories 13 years to destroy the country maybe irreparably

Exactly. The Tories are lacking in ethics but so was he and Tony Blair. No doubt he approved of the Iraq War, he played a large part in the 2008 banking crash and also he put a stop to the Portuguese police investigating the parents of missing Madeleine McCann (the forensic and circumstantial evidence suggesting that poor littlee Madeleine met with a fatal accident in the apartment and the McCanns covered it up is absolutely overwhelming).

Because the right-wing press would spin it to make him seem unstable or some other insane thing

He came to power at the start of a global recession. The Tory's came to power at the end of the recession but have kept austerity going for over a decade. The problems you think he caused are probably attributed to either the global recession or the Tory's after him

….to reverse the occupation of Iraq and be the primary architect of the global salvage job out of the global financial crisis….? Yes you are right, well done!

You have no idea what you're talking about.
In UK, we NEVER vote for Prime Minister, we vote for our local MP to act on our behalf and represent us.
That's how British voting works. Our MP then votes for the leader of their party, whether that be before or after an election.
It's 100% ethical, unlike trolling on UA-cam with incorrect information.

@@jukeboxtimebomber yes I do, I might have assumed you’d know what I meant but anyway Brown didn’t have a leadership election is what I meant so where are the ethics there then…..he got the job because he steamrollered Tony into giving it to him….

@@gorgu08 surely you mean he was the architect of the global financial crisis….wasn’t it he who deregulated the financial institutions….wasn’t it he who told the whole world and his dog about selling off some gold reserves only for the price to crash but he went ahead and sold it anyway……

@@jujitusuka Except that's not what happened.
Brown was voted in by the rest of the Labour party after Tony Blair resigned.
It wasn't Blair who voted him in, he was democratically elected, according to British law, by Labour members.
Those are the facts, so peace, love and respect but you're just wrong.
