Traditional Orchestra Performed by 60 Young Musicians - Live at Khokana Tourism Festival 2020

The orchestra performed is a historical and religious song created almost 900 years ago by the ethnic people of Khokana. This song is mostly hymned during festivals and events not only by the local but almost all Newa people across Nepal.
Song:- RUDRAYANI DEVI
Laxmi Prasad Dangol, a renowned musician of Nepal, arranged this song for the event. The orchestra encompasses numbers of traditional-folk instruments such as; Dhimay, Khee, Dhaa, Naya-Khee, Sarangi, Tungana, Basuri and more. Dangol perfectly blended the song with few western instruments. More than 60 young musicians from different parts of Khokana worked together to perform this epic orchestra.
