    For foiling, where the kite is often higher, I find seat harness so much better. For anything else a big fat waist harness (with a big back area, ie opposite of a belt) is better in my opinion. I have had way too many harnesses where the back coverage is too small and when way overpowered it digs in uncomfortably

    Awesome! Hard shells have been a game changer for me! I feel like they provide much more support and limit harness movement during all my sessions!

    yes, the hook part makes wounds on belly if you ride powered and jump high, the one from video seems to be very interesting!

      Why do you make the harness sides so broad and the back so small? In my opinion sides don´t need to be wider than webbings and also rolled like your hook. That gives great mobillity and also no load points at edges, like you crearly realized with your rolled hook, why not use this knowledge? Secondly a much higher back interferce only little with mobillity as moves we performe don´t have a backward arched spine, rather the opposite. The effect is a really good protection and stabilization of lower spine: Like the backpart is bridging the lumbar spine in total, siting with its edges down on hipbone and high on ribcage, making it impossible to transfer twisting or shearing loads to lumbar spine. Your outline is like a lot of "standard" soft harnesses have, not progressing much what new design this hard shell thecnique allows. I myself have a Severne PK1, which is much more progressed in that direction and it´s by far the best harness i´ve ever owned in 30years plus riding. Also for a lot of riders the harness placement in this video is allready up, what do you do to have a harness that sits lower and stays lower?

    Hi man. First have to say I’ve Enjoy all your reviews over the years! I know you been ride with Re and Mystic harness before. And just would be glad to hear your thoughts on Re Lyte vs Mystic Stealth in comfort and support? (Know you ride AK now but)
    Tnx and keep pushing it and congrats to the Airush job! 🤙

      Thanks Henrik! I have used most of their gear in the past. I’ve not used it even seen the Lyte actually. I have done some comparisons in the past between the two brands in general with the stealth. Your best best is to see if a local shop has some you can try on and compare.

    Please advise which is considered to be the best seat harness? I have lower back strain and I find a seat harness that most comfortable. I look forward to hearing from you. Tx Wayne

      @ryanrygogoloversic8826  10 місяців тому +1

      Comfortable can be pretty subjective. I think it’s best to visit a local shop and try a few on. Usually there is a bar on the wall you can hook into.
      Some have a low back and tons of support. Others sit lower and are more streamlined. There are even kite shorts that are pretty popular. I had an Ak Fusion demo last season. That was quite supportive. Hope you find something that works. 🙌🏻 Where are you located?

    Is this spreader bar you're showing is made of carbon? Does not look like but can't tell for sure with camera. One on AK site is a carbon.

    Hi, Im using wide soft harness and have lower back pain, what can you recommend for this issue?

    • @ryanrygogoloversic8826
      @ryanrygogoloversic8826  Рік тому +1

      Back pain is tricky to make recommendations. You might have to try a few different harnesses to see if something helps. Maybe see a doctor or pt about the root cause. I know some people find a seat harness helps as they can sit and get the pressure off their core. Some people like hardshells as they have more support. Hope that gives you a starting point!
