Laken, your playlist was helpful. The videos in this playlist are a mix of credible sources and very informative. It was put together nicely. I especially enjoyed the TED Talk. Having the varying formats that go from animation to these live actions gives a wide range. I think the use of animations and graphics makes the content more accessible, especially for younger viewers. The perspectives are well-balanced, offering both the dangers of the digital world and the benefits
It is great for students to have this access, but still very important to learn how to be good digital citizens. This is a great video to show to students to get to the point.
Excellent video! I love the different graphics that are shown in the video. It kept my attention. It shows various viewpoints that are good for students, teachers, leaders and families.
I have seen this video in a couple of playlists so far. I think it does a really good job discussing how digital citizenship is evolving the way that students learn. I think a key takeaway is that people should treat each other online just as well as they would if they were face to face. Overall, I like how your playlist highlights digital literacy!
@Mrs.Pearce This is a great playlist you have compiled on the importance of digital citizenship, the use of AI, and cyber safety! Your videos are engaging and great for students! I also used some TED X videos. My middle school students love those! I also think they would like the short films. I'll have to add that to my playlist! I think you did a great job with this playlist, and especially getting videos that showcase different viewpoints. Good work!
@Mrs.Pearce I like how you used videos in your playlist to teach digital literacy that involved conversations and dialogues such as the Joe Rogan podcast, as well as the TED talks. Other videos that you used to inform about digital literacy used great animations to help explain the content, but also to draw the viewers into the content being presented.
Rachel, I enjoyed your playlist and its focus on digital citizenship and security. Your videos have diverse styles and video lengths, aiding in viewer engagement. I appreciate that your videos have clear transitions and connections. Did you consider adding AI-specific videos? You have a lot of important and helpful information, that could be enhanced with the addition of artificial intelligence videos to expand viewers' knowledge even more.
I really enjoyed your playlist! It is very informative and engaging. I feel as if students can understand this and educate themselves fully on digital citizenship.
This video does a great job of hitting the high points about Digital Citizenship in a way that is engaging for young students. I like the simpler, Three Essential Elements for younger, elementary-aged students.
Times are changing and it is so important to teach digital citizenship to our students. Learning is now outside of school walls and we need to teach the importance of digital citizenship!
Citizenship: A citizen is a status of being a member of a particular city or a country every citizen has their own rights and responsibilities to handle about a city . Global citizenship:Is a someone who cares beyond their own borders and is awared by the challenges people face around The GLOBE. Digital/cyber (citizenship): Refers to how we interact with others They avoids cyberbulling and they are mindful about what they post ONLINE.
Great playlist @MeredithJohnson-jo1wh! I think there is a clear logical flow to your videos and they were all very relevant and informative. I particularly liked the the Brainpop video about Ethics. I love Brainpop for my younger students. I also like that you included resources on cyberbullying. Would you recommend sharing these resources in class or giving them to parents? Or both? Also, I would maybe include a more in-depth video about AI and how it is used today, maybe one about ChatGPT or one of the large language models we used for an assingment for this class.
@HannahMcKee-p4j I especially like this video because it gets to the point and truly shows students WHY it is important for them to be safe and smart with their digital choices. So much has changed with technology and I'm not sure that school aged students truly comprehend what they have access to and what kind of trouble they can get into.
