I'm German and I know. After WWII my parents were little children with no food, no clothes and no toys. They used to get care packages from US families that kept them alive. My mother got a little Teddy bear in one of those and she still has it, because it meant so much to her.
Also my brother in law here in Greece some years ago needed to do an operation in the US and his wife said people in Boston were so friendly and ready to help.
People all over the world know how to love and care for others. It's our nature.

Tbh a lot of them are phrases similar to what we use in english without even knowing it, ("thank god its not raining"..."what time is such and such..? God knows"..."OMG/oh my God"...Goodbye comes from "God be with you"...saying "jesus christ" when we are startled, surprised or joyed..."God forbid".."for Gods sake"). Im sure there are plenty more but you get the drift lol
@@CyrusGris Well yes but actually no. It is true that there is a similarity between these phrases. However, Pakistanis (and Muslims in general) are more believing and religious than Christians or Non-Christian Westerners who use these phrases.
@@alamgiral-qidwa6067 I'll admit that Muslims, Pakistanis, Arabic speakers etc use these phrases a bit more often than English speakers, maybe not more "believing or religious" though. There are many devout and frankly fundamental Christians out there, maybe not as prevalant as before, but many Muslims are becoming more secular these days, so it evens each other out to a degree. My comment was more about the quasi-religious phrases English speakers use on a regular basis without even thinking about it, as an atheist I realised this a while ago and thought it was quite intersting.
@@CyrusGris It's very different; those phrases we use are so far removed from their original religious connotations.
For instance; "oh my god"
Once, "Oh, my god" to beg for either acknowledgment or forgiveness; now a phrase used as an exacerbated last resort to rational thought, usually used in frustration or surprise.
The phrase is the same, but over time it's religious meaning was completely stripped.
In the case of Islam, and Muslim people, their phrases haven't changed, they still hold the same religious connotations through and through, no matter who says it, or how.
There is no way to say "Bis'millah" without having the name of God invoked as a cause.
As-salamu Alaykum is a great example of the parallel between how native English speakers, and how native Arabic speakers typically use god in sentence.
ONLY the most catholic individuals will say "Peace be with you", and only the most devout catholic receiving this would reply "And with you".
In Arabic? Those phrases are used in the same way, with more emphasis on god making the peace you receive.
Innately Muslim culture is WAY more devout than any western Christian or Catholic sect, especially since it's MOST of the Muslim people who speak and act this way about religion.
Becoming more secular could be anything from a few hundred kids out of a hundred million, to a few thousand kids to a million.
Either way, they aren't as secular as western culture, and that was the point made from the very beginning.

This is why people should talk to each other the world over. I've learned so much watching this channel and i feel my heart has been opened even more. It just reminds me whenever I watch that we all have the potential to be beautiful souls like these people. We should all work harder to be kinder and respect everyone and show compassion to everyone.
