Hi I tried to access the older videos you had published on the generator and running them in parallel and they’re no longer available. I tried to access them and they were marked private. Are they no longer ones you would suggest? I love your videos especially since you said in a recent video that you buy them yourselves and the reviews are based on more long term vs. right out of the box reviews. Thank you. I am a Louisiana professor which means I get paid decently for 9 months out of the year. I appreciate that you seem to be very careful and do the research before buying. Thanks for all the great videos.
We had an unfortunate experience with the 2500. It would not start. We were about ready to go with something else when it dawned on Sharon that our elevation had been just shy of 8000 ft. The 2200 started at the high elevation. We've decided to keep both the Westinghouse generators. You can buy a kit to help the generator get more oxygen, but it's such a pain to install and uninstall it.
@@TwoTiredTeachers thanks for sharing this with me. I was headed to Lowe’s to order one soon. That’s one of the many things I love about y’all. Your honesty shines through. Have a happy summer. One more question, is the areas you profiled in some of your mote recent videos affected by the New Mexico wildfires?
Great video and very timely as my i2200 generator arrived today! Could you share a link to the meter you purchased? I would love to add it to my unit before starting it up! Thanks again for the great videos!
We got it on Amazon, and it doesn't seem to be available now. It is a Frienda Inductive Hour Meters Digital Engine Hour Meter Automatically Shutdown for Gas Engine Motorcycle Lawn Mower Generator Chainsaws Motocross Snowmobile Karting (Black).

How many hours do you have on the generator now?
I think the meter battery may only last 2 years. Does count reset after battery change ?
I really don't know, but I do know that it claims to have a standby for "up to over 20,000 hours."
