Hi. Cheers! If you enjoy Monaco history, I would strongly recommend this one: a video of the first 5 races there - ua-cam.com/video/Y0bTF8PZMik/v-deo.html
@@ourafilmes didn't realise you were Portuguese. I went to portimau circuit on my honeymoon but was refused entry because i wasn't signed on for the porsche experience day. I though it would be open to the public like all UK circuits are.
Don´t worry, I´ve got it worse... I have bought a 3 day ticket for the Portimão race but then was unable to go there (I live 650 Kms away)... I am thinking on selling the ticket to a crazy F1 fan to recover the money I spent... There are trackdays there too but you must sign for. Cheers!

Yes, modern cars are too wide and the circuit seems to narrow alongside the years. In the 1929 race, 3 cars could go side by side! The old layout was much better with the last "straight" and a hard braking for an hairpin... but it´s lost for almost 50 years now...
The pool curve are unecessary - nothing ever happend there - and the worst was the end of old hairpin just before the lap being completed...that was the true surpass place of the whole lap . Monaco is a boring race since then
A really nice compilation - thx But “All the greatest drivers” and not mentioning Schumacher or Rindt…. Not good Also Nico Rossberg won 3 times and is a Monaco resident…..
Thank you but... look, I can´t mention everyone! And my best drivers may not be yours! I watch F1 for 40 years and I prefer the old tracks and drivers! Today they are marketing machines and talk like robots! But that is only my opinion! Cheers!
Rosberg was born in Germany. He moved to Monaco as an adult to escape the high taxes in Germany. There are many athletes, including probably other F1 drivers, who lived and have lived in Monaco after they became "rich". Leclerc was born there and is a life time resident.
The first races in Monaco were absolutely stunning, nothing like today. Full report here - ua-cam.com/video/Y0bTF8PZMik/v-deo.html
Loved the history you included of the origins of the race. Nice job.

@@ourafilmes Thank you!
Very nice video. One small detail: the old chicane was used until 1985, it changed in 1986 to what we know now.
Thanks and yes, you are right, a small mistake.
I've just found your channel and have to say these videos are wonderful. Thank you very much for your work. 👌
Thank you very much for your nice words! Cheers from Portugal!

The old Turbo Monster! ❤
I loved them!
Iconic circuit but recently no chance of overtaking, so a bit of a
procession.

@@ourafilmesIt didn't make any difference when they were narrow.....

Yes, film cameras did not like that tunnel! LOL!
1:56 Fast forward to 2024 and now we have the monegasque Charles Leclerc as a Grand Prix winner in Monaco driving a Ferrari.
Yes, finally! Mission accomplished! Cheers from Portugal!
Iconic track that is all about Qualifying in todays F1 . Myself I would not miss it if it’s not on the calendar.
It´s a different challenge, in a way but... Couldn't agree more! I mentioned that in my video "10 things I miss in modern F1". Cheers from Portugal!

I agree with you but they did it because they did works on the top side, where the stands are now, invalidating the cars passing there!!
Would be interesting to see, how modern formula 1 tires survive the tram tracks.
LOL!
Put the chicane back; the course is slow enough as it is.
It was dangerous! That was the reason for the change.
