- Directed and filmed by Miss Connie, starring Angus McDonald, and shot in Tokyo in June 2012, the video for Friends takes the viewer on a desolate trip through a day in the Japanese capital. Like the track itself, the video is a commentary on relationships, isolation and solitude, but is ultimately uplifting and liberating.
Friends is the fourth single from the "From Here To Anywhere" album. The single release includes remixes from Norman Doray, Beni, Plastic Plates, Jonny Pow!! and Black Angus.

This song should be. considered one of the best electro pop songs of all time. It's so awesome. The video should have millions of views, although I don't like a few small things about it, it's still pretty incredible and unique.

Oh my God, finally found this song again after 6 years! Times have changed, but I still love it.
Picked up SSS in 2006. How great to find they've released yet another great album. And to find this video from the city I love and where I got married. Shinjuku Kabuki-Cho, Shibuya, Takeshita-dori I'll be back soon to have one more of thoose delicious strawberry, chocolate, whipped cream crêpes. :)

Ahead of it's time? For me it is a style from 2001-2008, like Roger Sanchez, Eric Prydz, Stardust, etc. I guess. Music that was already some kind of retro electronic and I like that style. Just discovered it in Spotify. I remember some other songs by Sneaky Sound System from the radio.

you know the problem with this song is that is was released as a single way too late in the album's charting cycle. This (along with Colours) are by far the standout tracks on a very solid album. The album would have got far more traction, sales wise had this song been released first or second single. Blah.

You're absolutely right. This song is a banger. They have plenty of songs that should be more known. I guess because Sneaky Sound Systems is independent, alot of mainstream exposure opportunities aren't given to them. I kind of like them being my little secret, but I also want the best for them. They deserve the fortune, fame and whatever. There seems to be other music artist out there, that aren't as talented as Sneaky Sound Systems, making lots of money, and getting the fame, so why not them?
