Razorwired, Thanks for the input and its amazing that Honda engineered these doors with such play and then trying to install panels to make up for that play is a challenge. It is not a design flaw, it is intentional as a lot of people want to bottom open for airflow and minimalizing the caged feeling while off-roading. Honda has "always" had lower covers as an option.

Thanks for the input. Yes, we figured Honda designed the Talon intentionally this way but when we were riding with my local group of Honda Talon owners one day, I noticed every single owner was forced to wear a face mask due to the amount of dust coming in from the lower doors. So we thought, what the heck, we do not want to do this all the time and should look for a door panel to head off 80% of all dust coming in the drivers compartment. Is it necessary to do a valve check at first break in service even if everything sounds normal when I first purchased the machine?

NOW, I did not do the valve check on my machine and I checked with a lot of people and they said if you here valve rattle, then you want to do the valve check. Hope that helps and looking forward to you joining the family.
