I really appreciated him sharing about his friend who passed from b cancer. It adds a lot more context to why he takes it so seriously and personally

As someone whose always struggled to find comfortable bras that also look good, I found this talk really validating and would love to see the industry move towards health, function and comfort.

Love what he said about how finding the solutions is about finding the experts. Good advice for any problem that needs solving

He is so correct about what we put on our skin affecting us way more than what we're led to believe, and so many of our cosmetics are incredibly harmful. Glad to see more people pushing for this kind of change and awareness

I never really considered the electrical body angle before, but it definitely makes you question things.

Okay this is kind of blowing my mind rn? It really is such a simple theory but it makes so much sense

That's wonderful that people truly care and are willing to give up personal gain for the safety and knowledge of others. I can't wait to see what they create!

What he says about us being electric beings that need to move is so important. I don't think enough people realize this

I admire him for shedding light on how little the bra industry cares about women’s actual health. I've always felt that it was about fashion and looking sxc so this really just confirmed all of that

I went through puberty so young that I've been wearing bras for 25 years already, and I'm only 35. This is legitimately concerning.

Fascinating insight on the bra industry and its history.

Oh my the bit about our skin absorbing chemicals and all of that really jarred me? Like I know our skin is an organ but I just didn't think about the fact that it's porous and would absorb the chemicals from our clothing. That's really scary.

The guy around the 7:00 mark sounds like a caricature lol seriously that's a wild amount of emotion to go through. Good on him for being able to recognize he might not be doing the right thing though

I was surprised that even female bra designers hadn't thought about how they impact health and comfort

This is a much better theory than some of the other ones I've heard about cancer.... I once had a neighbor tell me it was God punishing me for my sin because he only gives his strongest soldiers the hardest battles. Absolute shyt.

Well this is interesting. I stopped wearing wired bras out of pure discomfort but to think that may be worse (as the bras themselves that I use are so much tighter) is really concerning

It’s kind of wild to think that something as common as wearing a bra could actually be harmful to your body... makes me wonder what else is commonplace that's super harmful

What about bralets, the ones that are just cloth and no wires or cushions ? 12:52 answers it.
I think he’s honest and this feels like the truth. I’ve also done some research so it makes sense.

I only had the courage to not wear a bra around the house in the last 4 years or so. I developed bursitis in my shoulder and the way my bra straps say was just agony. This is making me really glad I've been giving the ladies a bit of a bra-break haha

I understand the point about womens health, but I can’t help but feel like this whole talk is pushing his product. There’s a fine line between advocating for change and marketing

I’m all for questioning societal norms, but I think the argument against bras as a whole is a bit extreme. Maybe some of these issues apply to certain types of bras, but it seems like a stretch to say they’re dangerous across the board

  • @bettygould3679

Welp when you consider the bra was created as an alternative to the corset it makes sense why it was just accepted

It's 2020 (June) and I can't find any of the bra companies he named. They raised 1.7 million dollars 5 years ago; surely, there is a line out already? Bodyhum and Tuesday are not found as websites...

Are there any theories on testicular cancer? I know it's not even in the same realm (the discomfort that ladies have to deal with), but wondering if it would be safer if all the guys were free balling.
