Just a suggestion (so it’s easier to go through), could you add timestamps for each different storyline idea in the description or in a comment? This would make it millions of times easier to look through!
I have a blended sim family that gives really wholesome vibes. Rosella Landry is a lady who grew up in Willow Creek with her mother Magdalene. In high school she met and fell in love with a Selvadoradan guy named Raul Ortega. After graduation the two ended up having a daughter together and she was named Shauna. Only a few days after Shauna's birth, Raul suffered a mental breakdown over the pressure of his new responsibility, and impulsively left the family without so much as a goodbye. This broke Rosella's heart and left Shauna without a dad. Shortly after Shauna reached child age, the family of three took a vacation to Granite Falls, where they met up with a man named Jaden Akahoshi and his toddler daughter Millie, who were from Mt. Komorebi. Jaden worked as a college professor, and was a widower, his wife having passed away from complications from having Millie. The two ended up bonding over both suddenly losing their sweethearts, and falling in love during their vacation. With Rosella and Jaden in love, and their daughters hitting it off well with each other as friends, the two parents decided to elope in secret, and then moved in together in a newly-built house in Newcrest. In a big surprise, Jaden's father Gentaro also came down to live with them, having retired and sold his business to downsize in life. So now there was a family of six living together. It didn't take long for Rosella and Jaden to have a child together. They had a boy named Kenta. It was then that Rosella learned that one of Jaden's coworkers was actually her estranged ex-husband Raul. Raul came to visit Jaden at home, and saw him with a full house of a family. It took a lot of convincing, especially with Magdalene, but seeing Shauna doing so well made him want to redeem himself and come back to Rosella's family and be there for the three kids. So now Rosella lives with her husband, daughter, step-daughter, toddler son, ex-husband, mother, and father-in-law, in a tri-cultural house with *just* enough room for everybody.
Something I’d love to see represented is the deaf community! I’d like an option to have have a deaf sim, who learns sign language.. and other sims in their family can learn sign language to communicate with the deaf sims 💜💜💯🇦🇺
I ALWAYS play with Twin Besties, since Sims 2. Always a boy and a girl, with the same names since I start play. But with aging off, cause everytime there was a new expansion pack I play with them exploring the pack. In Sims 3 they also move to the new worlds to explore them. They are my favourite sims and I love them, they are my babies 🥰
I'm doing a multi-generational household right now. These elder parents are living in this giant mansion that they own because the elders were a famous musician and author and they have two kids still living at home, who are young adults. One of the kids is a single mom of a teen girl, and the other of the elders' children is living with her husband in the mansion as well while she's trying to make it as an actress and she's also pregnant. It's always interesting in that house.
Your videos always make me want to boot up the game right away but I'm usually driving while listening to you (yay hour commutes). I'm so glad you're back to making regular videos. HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!
What I am currently doing with the the niece of a deceased Sim is I had the household 'buy' the empty lot with all the possessions still on it and turned it into a retail lot and used it to have an estate sale. It's a roundabout way of inheriting property as we don't have that in the game. If you're playing a legacy challenge and some of your non heirs die on another lot you can still inherit their estate in this way by turning it into a retail lot and buy it with your household funds.
Thank you for this awesome video 💗I love these wholesome storylines! Im just starting out with sims, and it seems like so much of the gameplay is related to woohoo and/or murder 😅
You know what I think EA should have asked YOU to write the scenarios. They are great n fun ideas and you tell bring it with so much enthusiasm☺️. Started the “make money” challenge yesterday n was disappointed from start as the married gay couple I made where able to move in a house straight away?? Then went in build mode n created a one room tiny house n bam instantly made 8k simmoleons….. so no where near as fun as rags to riches. Thank you for the upbeat ideas n fun video 😆🧡👍🏼
i’m currently doing a single dad of two boys. he works hard being a politician and he’s balancing that and casual dating and spending quality time with his kids. it’s a cute little trio
I'm playing a "van life" type of gameplay/challenge. I have this girl stuck in a job she doesn't like (she's in the bussiness career but traits are vegetarian, outdoorsy and creative) and all the money she earn goes to build a trailer (a tiny house that looks like a van completly off grid). When it is done, the challenge is she quits her job and you have to move the trailer through all neiborhoods in all worlds and make her change careers to something creative. She gets to see the sim-world and meet a lot of people :D ♥
This is in the sims 3, but I’ve been playing as a single father and toddler daughter where I started with no money and I’m not allowed to give the father a full time job, it’s been really fun and it’s sweet seeing the father care for the daughter and watching her grow up
one time i had my teen sim drop out of school because she found out she was pregnant then she started doing odd jobs while still having a career just so they could make enough money by the time the baby was born so they could devote most of their time to it🥺(she also raised it by herself)
This reminds me that way back when I had a household of a ghost and a child Sim. It was a complicated storyline that involved kingdoms and true heirs. But this got me to thinking about a family with a child sim, a toddler, and a ghost where the ghost is literally just that, and whether or not a child sim could more or less successfully raise a toddler without it getting taken away. Especially with the recent garden update for kids, it just be possible. It could definitely be played anywhere from an "easy" to hard mode! Hurray for spinoff concepts, I will have to work on this concept now.
For blended family, I think the old TV show The Brady Bunch, but it ends up with 9 people, too much for a Sims household after adding the housekeeper. I like generational play personally, or stable poly families.
I just did the bestie sisters thing but instead of twins, I had a pair of Sims where the male got abducted the same day his wife got pregnant so they gave birth the same day. They ended up living together and having their kids in the same house. Fun times.
Nooo....but like I’m doing the party animal super parent! So my sim (as a teen) wanted a boyfriend (even though they’d simp over her sister lol) and wanted to be popular. When she had her baby, she literally went into mum mode. She’s getting her toddler maxed out skilled...👁👄👁 like you’d never think this would happen!
this is exactly the video i needed to restart my current legacy. I kind of want to assign these categories to various sims and restart their stories! since I haven't touched the save in 3 months or so, this is just what i need to get motivated
I loved number 3 for your ideas! I can't have kids. But with the sims, I made myself and my hubby, and we had kids. But I might try that one now! I love your bubbly voice!
Living life with Derek?? The Disney show where the Derek and his step sister where totally into each other but had to hide it because it was a kids show?????? or are we talking about another Life with Derek show? lol but I love when you do videos like this! Gives me so many ideas.
The blended family idea reminds me of the Cinderella story, in which Cinderella and her father join with an evil woman and her 2 evil daughters. The father is neglectful of Cinderella, and pretty much ignores the fact that his second wife and step-children are bullying his own biological child. Cinderella meets her Prince, and they live happily ever after. The End. Actually, I think I will try most of these storylines in the Sims 3 instead, because the Sims 3 seems better suited for one-household gameplays. The Sims 4 is well suited for one-Sim gameplays. The Sims 2 is well suited for rotational neighborhood gameplays.
I think Cinderella’s father died when she was still very young before he knew that the stepmother was evil. I could be wrong though because I’m sure there are many different versions of this story! 😊
WOWWWW Your just down the street from me saw you say Toronto in a Comment... I moved here from Texas 20 years ago to the Niagara Region! My youngest son now 25 so all he's known is Canada I call him Canadianized LOLLLLL I still have my thick accent so I get tons of reactions here over the years My oldest son just had my first grandchild / Ayla She is now 3 so I got to move home now I am 54 and I don't want to miss out on anymore of My son's life and now Ayla Enjoy your channel when I do pop in
I think it would be great if you have sims representing the storylines for example the twin besties, you have twin besties living together and video capture of that
For the "Adopting a Ton of Kids" storyline, if you aren't averse to mods, LittleMsSam has a mod to make a foster family. It's super comprehensive, where you can bring in foster kids, and then choose to have them adopted by other sims (including interviewing the potential adoptive parents), or adopt the kids yourself. The "state" send money to your family to help take care of them. It also includes fostering pets. :)
I've been really loving to take a role playing route with my gameplay. Had a couple with two beautiful babies, when the mother randomly wanted a third child. Was planning on giving EXTRA ATTENTION to each kiddo and getting them as much reward points/good grades as possible, so wasn't too into it. However, because my gameplay style was role play I had to give it the one go she wanted. SHE HAD TWINS!!!! T_T The one time I don't hyperfocus on getting fertile on both young adults, hahaha.
So I actually thought if a story line that I actually played through. It's not really wholesome, but here it is. It's about a single mon with a teenager. (I did a male teen) she hates her dhild and abuses him. He finally has enough and moves out. He is all alone with barely any money.
Blended family It reminds me of the old show The "Brady Brunch" were a mother of 3 girls and a father of 3 boys fall in love and end up living together as a whole family
Whenever I'm bored waiting for my teenagers to become a young adult and take over as the matron for the next generation, I adopt a few kids. The family now is so big (gen 9) I had to download new people for my sims to date that are not related to themselves 🤣
Number 4 but with a small twist of number 1 because it will be interesting. I am currently having 3 teens and one roommate in my household. The roommate was a a mother because she is currently a ghost and is like I am taking care of you guys and I will look after you. Yeah I also have the haunted house mood one because I want to have it… because it is so cool. Have a nice day Kah
Wait or is it a plant I don’t wanna be disrespectful or offend you if it isn’t but I just got so excited heheh love you Taylor your amazing and best youtuber hands downnn xxxxx
If you want the "twin besties" to be even more wholesome. Have the twins grow up in a HORRIBLE family. Not just bad house bad family as well! Then when they move out they can pursue their dream careers and are safe from that horrid family! Idk I just thought of this.
Omg I have the twin besties storyline(vera and luna)I have them living in the same house with their spouses and daughters (who as cousins are also bffs) they have 3 other sisters (skyla and emilia are younger and moira is older)and i made a whole bunch of connections to other sims I've made example their two younger sisters (skyla and emilia)live together but one of them(emilia) had triplets (which was annoying because it was the first time this happened and I was only expecting one baby in my small apartment)with another sim (dante)who was married and whose sister in law(mya) is another friend of vera and luna and she was how emilia found out her bae was married. I called the save sister's chaos
Once I made a sim cheat on his wife with his girlfriend and they had the same amount of kids (6) and in the end he married his girlfriend and had two more kids and the wife hated him.
.... I'm 28.5 years older than my youngest sibling 👀 That would be like my Sim being at the very end of their young adulthood and their parents popping out a new baby.

Being helpful for anyone who wants the time stamps
Thank you, very helpful!
Thank you this was really helpful lol!
thank you for this.
Thank you SOOO much! ❤
Her game play styles are either 1.wholesome cute families or 2. WOoHoo and death lol
😇
Seems pretty normal for me haha
Just a suggestion (so it’s easier to go through), could you add timestamps for each different storyline idea in the description or in a comment? This would make it millions of times easier to look through!
I’ve done it in my comment, you’re welcome :)

Omg thanks for sharing! I LOVE reading people's Sim stories ❤!
Is this how bookworms feel when they read the greatest story they’ve ever read, because that’s how I feel after reading yours

I love that!!!, or a sim in a wheelchair
@@zavielle 😊💜that’s a good idea too.
3:20 - Taylor says: adopting a ton of kids. MY brain goes "I should make a witch and have her just steal children and add them to her family..."
😂
How do you do that, lol.
I ALWAYS play with Twin Besties, since Sims 2. Always a boy and a girl, with the same names since I start play. But with aging off, cause everytime there was a new expansion pack I play with them exploring the pack. In Sims 3 they also move to the new worlds to explore them.

The fact you posted a wholesome video on Halloween. 👻
My sister and I have an 18 year difference. We only lived in the same house for a few weeks. As adults we’re ridiculously close, absolute best ♥️
😆 my stepmother and I also had babies 16 months apart. My life is two of these storylines.
I just did the bestie sisters thing but instead of twins, I had a pair of Sims where the male got abducted the same day his wife got pregnant so they gave birth the same day. They ended up living together and having their kids in the same house. Fun times.
I did that as well! Have fun!

LOLL I’m literally playing with bestie twins...they live in a townhouse and have keys to each other’s house...

Subscribed in one minute. Girl you are so cute and sweet I love the vibe
Omg idk where to start, thanks a lot 🙏 you're so creative 💕
I'm currently playing a family that's a combination of #2 and #3. I always hit randomize for adopted children's traits.
I can always make up stories. That's one thing I never have a problem with. I always been a dreamer. But thanks for the ideals.
#5 reminds me of The Brady Bunch
Blended family
It reminds me of the old show The "Brady Brunch" were a mother of 3 girls and a father of 3 boys fall in love and end up living together as a whole family
The mom and kid raising kids is kind of like someone in my school- him and his nephew both are in the same grade (my grade lol)
Real life my father and his nephew are the same age. I grew up with my 2nd cousins being in the same grad as me. Had lots of classes together.
Whenever I'm bored waiting for my teenagers to become a young adult and take over as the matron for the next generation, I adopt a few kids. The family now is so big (gen 9) I had to download new people for my sims to date that are not related to themselves 🤣

The number 9 it would be like playing my life because my sister and my niece and mom had kids the same year i was the last one to be born
i love these!!!! how do you even think of these! :)
WAIT WAIT WAIT HOLD UP HAVE I MISSED AN EPISODE IR SOMTHING OR IS THAT THE ICONIC ULTIMATESIMSGUIDE/TAYLORSAURUS CHRISTMAS TREE????? 💞💞💞💞
Wait or is it a plant I don’t wanna be disrespectful or offend you if it isn’t but I just got so excited heheh love you Taylor your amazing and best youtuber hands downnn xxxxx
Of course it’s the tree LOL I decorated it yesterday too
The blended family is always weird. The step siblings always start flirting… just like Life with Derek!!!!
I just thought of a new one where you have to move worlds everytime a new heir becomes a young adult
If you want the "twin besties" to be even more wholesome. Have the twins grow up in a HORRIBLE family. Not just bad house bad family as well! Then when they move out they can pursue their dream careers and are safe from that horrid family! Idk I just thought of this.

Me and my sister are also 14 years apart I’m the younger sibling
#9.... I’ve done multiple times 😊 it’s fun 💜💯🇦🇺
The first twin storyline really got me. I’ve never thought of doing that & I’m a twin.. she died in the womb 🥺
Ouuu I love your nails ☺️💓
Multi geberational living is great
Once I made a sim cheat on his wife with his girlfriend and they had the same amount of kids (6) and in the end he married his girlfriend and had two more kids and the wife hated him.
.... I'm 28.5 years older than my youngest sibling 👀 That would be like my Sim being at the very end of their young adulthood and their parents popping out a new baby.

#9 sounds like you saw a Whiny Brit video!
Love it.
First!!!! HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!!
I was just wondering, is that mom and daughter have a baby at the same time possible? I mean, if you have ageing on and don't use mccc to customise the length of the life stages🤔
The twin thing sounds fun, I've never played like that. Most of my sims never communicate with their siblings🤣
What happened with light in your videos?(( It's got so dark since 2 weeks ago
I had a camera issue and it’s been SO RAINY in Toronto so I didn’t have any natural light, I think I fixed it though so should get better
HEY
I would not call closed adoption wholesome personally lol. No I know it'd be complicated but I'd love to see open adoption in the Sims, but I can wait for Sims 5, 4 is not ready for that lol.
