I would argue Kharod is Better, better range, accuarcy, penetration(after upgrading both).Stats wise Kharod has a slightly lower dmg(1 vs 1.2) but that's negated by higher rate of fire and penetration. Could make an argument for Dnipro when you can convert Dnipro to 7.62x39 ammo but you don't get the blueprint till the end. If you are undecided you can get both ARs and more(great armor, best hand-gun) in the arena in Rostok by stealing the gear that they provide you for the matches. Kharod can also be used as a shotgun if you buy an attachment. This way you can carry a sniper rifle in you second weapon slot. But anyway. Both guns suffer from the same thing as all end-game guns. They are extremely expensive to maintain and they break-down fast since enemies are laser-beaming you so you might wanna go with a simple gun anyway.

13:00 The Changes in damage and recoil are equal but the caliber didn't change to 7.62, it stays at 5.45. Edit: says in the description that is still 5.45 but my weapon was empty and need 7,62 now...
AKM 74S works just fine. When it breaks-grab the next one from any encounter. Cheap to maintain, very first tech can fully upgrade it. Armor is a different animal, and i think more important than firepower. Still,i stick with one that is relative to the progress,so i can actualy modify and fix it for reasonable price.
You are underestimating the importance of penetration, and how much more deadly is, for example, fora than 74. The better the armour on your enemies - the more important becomes penetration stat on your guns
I mean most of the areas you can safely loot long as your careful. Plenty of good guns and ammo to sell in pripyat. Just make sure you bring enough money if your gear isn't ready cuz otherwise your gonna be broken equipment all the time 😂
To make this whole trip and and the shotcut to pripyat even easier there is a SEVA Suit just inside Rostok Wilds that can be upgraded in Rostok, With max upgrade you can do the train skip in Yaniv with need for rad pills or Vodka.
@SiNKiLLeR_ Not a Problem man, I've already logged almost 150hrs across 2 playthroughs and have been trying note down certain key lootables for an early game rush run. I'm also trying to map out all the Anomaly Fields across the world.
Imo Kharod is only better because it can have the hole maker-L attachment aka under barrel shotgun but that’s just my opinion I like to carry a sniper rifle as well as the kharod
The dnipro is pretty light weight even without modifications plus its overall damage is high making it pretty good at single shot kills for a 5.45 gun.
@@kelasjee5282do you know how roughly far I need to progress to unlock it? I made it to clear sky and a bit further but I heard the game gets super buggy after clear sky so I loaded a much older save.

Upgrade attachments found by going to a tech only attachments currently available to buy and customize are sights and silencers and under barrel for different rifles
What is that green tavor in your inventory? I see it's a quest item, does that come with Ward questline? (I'm doing Scar run and I haven't encountered it yet).
@@SiNKiLLeR_ Found out what it was. Back behind the north cooling tower, there are some train cars. You do the blue mission for the guy there and it spawns the stash. Hope that helps anyone with the same issue!
@@RB-cs5dwnot at range. In late game you’ll need several headshots with the bizon. Late game enemies don’t carry much 9mm either. Kharod takes only 2 to the dome in my experience.
@RB-cs5dw try it out yourself. There's a 65rd mag upgrade for it, it takes same suppressor as the Makarov, and either the okp-7 reddot or the 2x scope (recommended) . Super cheap to repair and run, recoil is minimal on full auto and its a head tapper in semi
I think it gets a bit technical and scenario /attachment dependent, but I would the Kharod is better in the current version. It may change in the future.

this is the first game to ever feature the malyuk ar. love it.
Warzone 2 featured it as well, it was meta for quite a while
@ right right
I havnt been long out of the lesser zone and I was able to get this, it's even 100% too, love it cheers for that

So true and so fun as well

Switch to semi automatic mode with B-key and aim to heads.

How do you get the suppressor?
There are no stash with couple dnipro magazine inside this little "house". At least for me.
Yo, it seems I missed a step. If you check the Pin Comments you can get a tip on the first step. Sorry about that. It was just there for me.
I hit that controller with an RPG one shot from distance, easy. Warheads on foreheads.
How the hell can you upgrade all things? Are you using mods? I can choose only from one of two upgrades
I think it was a bug or a mod thats been fixed now.
Jumpin off the tower didn’t work for me
Jumping off the side of the nuclear building?

What is the green and black gun with the quest check on it in the top of your inventory?
