I think I was talking 'only' about the FIR lodged against Srijato for posting a poem in the facebook. I condemn this FIR. Let's answer your doubts one by one, although I am out of Bengal for a longtime. 1. In last 2 days a lot of things has happened in Bengal. Robberies, nasty politics etc. Besides these shits, a taxi driver named Gazi Jalaluddin of Kolkata was working hard for orphans in Sundarban. Many NGOs like CRY was working for social means. Subhasini Mistry and her son doctor Ajoy Mistry was trying to cure people from middle or low income background at Humanity Hospital which is a charitable institution at Thakurpukur. If you don't know about Subhasini devi please search in the internet. 2. Everything is a function of time. The world before 50 years was hugely different than what it is today. Think about what is right and what is wrong, not only for a person but also for a mass. Change is always welcome 'if' it is righteous for a large percentage of population. 3. From your name, I didn't get whether you're a bengali or not. Anyway, before asking anybody else have you ever asked yourself the same question that what you've contributed to others? If you can't contribute, don't question.
I didn't get offended dude. I was wondering how you made force into an irrelevant topic in the middle of the FIR against Srijato's poem. Surely you have enough luxury of time to snatch a topic and debate on that, which is essentially futile. In 70's Bengal at the time of Naxalite movement, She was unrest. Bengal revived. She revived also after the rule of England. You don't need to worry about Her. If some politically planned movement happens, the people has the ability to deal with it. In Syria, Iran, Iraq, Palestine the situations are worst. I believe they will revive. So do we. Government is for people. If people changes, government will follow. Hope I made myself clear.
