Hi, thanks for great video. I've seen many videos where they have engine running while bleeding the air. What is difference between engine off & running? Thanks

I know you don’t respond to comments but maybe someone else can chime in.
About 3 weeks ago I replaced the resovoir. All fine new fluid. Week later power steering completely goes out on highway. Out for whole day. Next day all sudden comes back.. but still laggy.. stiff during turns sometimes but for most part works.. but can tell something not right.
I’ll try this. Maybe I have air in system?? No noise tho

What could be the reason that the steering wheel shakes left and right on the 2002 745i (EDC+DynamicDrive)? The wheels have been centered several times, the tires are new, all parts in the chassis are new. Could this be caused by a servo pump fault? Or is there air somewhere in the system? Sometimes the government doesn't shake, but sometimes it does on the same road.

Wow. The guys just rebuilt my engine, added fresh oil and water, I thought they had out power steering fluid too. They did not.( Reservoir had been removed of course.) Car finally started, (after being dead 7 years, now alive) no noise from power steering so I still did not look. Now there's a grinding sound from pump. Ugh. Went got fluid, atf, filled but still noisy. Max running time has been maybe half an hour (?) Total so far...I had tried to bleed by turning wheel lock to lock...but with engine running. Today after your GREAT VIDEO, I'll lift wheels and use your method. Manoman I hope it didn't kill the pump!!! Thanks, my friend, I've watched many of. Your videos and learned alot! Subscribed)
