I grew up with a covert narcissist mother. She was the only one with actual leadership skills, so everyone else simply catered to her. Anyone who didn’t got shut out of our live. Because of this I was isolated and she was practically my only example of leadership as a child. She made everyone feel bad for her so we would follow her lead out of pity or guilt. I'm not exactly on a major career path, but I am doing my very best to develop leadership skills in a non-toxic way. I've listened to several of these videos and I think they are amazing advice. I'm super hyped to find good clear advice about leadership and communication skills. Having a bad leader that just wants you to constantly support them, without having any regard for other people, is absolutely horrible. But these videos help me see a way forward to developing my own skills in a healthy way. I feel like I can become an awesome communicator and maybe even an awesome leader after finding this channel! Thank you Kara Ronin!
Amazing content! Thank you for sharing this. This is clearly what is missing nowadays in most places. A boss is not necessarily a good leader ... these tips you give its what makes someone a good leader. Thank you!
Thank you so much for clarifying the sandwich approach. I’ve heard that taught over and over and you’re the only person that has ever brought insight like this excellent.
I got first negative feedback in front of two other co workers in the company owners office and was told if you do this again I will just give this work to someone else. From that point on the pressure was on.
I really appreciate your informative video on feedback. It's clear that you have a deep understanding of this crucial aspect of leadership. Could you share a specific example of a challenging feedback situation you've encountered and how you managed it?
The video on "These Are the WORST Ways to Give Feedback as a Leader" is a must-watch for anyone in a leadership role. It provides valuable insights on what to avoid when providing feedback. Keep up the excellent work in sharing leadership tips!
I found the video to be very helpful. It's important to remember that feedback is a gift, and we should give it in a way that is helpful and constructive
I agree! The key to successfully managing challenging feedback situations is to approach them with empathy, clarity, and a genuine desire to support the individual's growth and success within the team.
If it was possible for me, I would send your video to all the company employees with High importance... Personal attacks and belittle are widely used... But there are few leaders that also uses good feedback..... thanks again 💐
This is interesing subject as it's something we are not taught to do. My current manager in my preivous my privous position said in my quarterly review meeting a couple of years ago you should be like (collagues name) and talk more in our chat group in Microsoft Teams. Feedback in applications where the interiew panel write things like the panel did not it was the right time for you I had to ask a colleague because I could not understand what the feedback meant they would have better saying you benefit from shadowing this team or grade. Recently for a tempory promotion application the feedback I was given was the pannel consiroed your examples were to simplstic I had to ask my mentor what they meant and it's a critism of lack of iniative required due to the operating model in the way task are completed.
Can you please make a video about how to limit or get rid of repeating word in speaking? When I speak, I say a lot of times "Like". There is probably a specific name for this kind of word repeating. I know a lot of people have some kind of word like this. It just automatically comes up when I talk or give a speech. Now i have become to notice it and try to stop myself from saying it. But what other tricks could I use? Thank you so much! I learn a lot from your videos!

Well done, you're always doing great videos, please carry on ❤❤❤❤❤❤
Even my collegue not my boss likes to talk down to others
Why do most leaders think that sandwich/sugar coating is the best approach of giving feedback. No wonder it’s confusing😅
