Hi, you need to use flat head screwdriver which is not too wide and also not too long as there is limited space. You insert in to the little hole (showed in 50 sec) and you pry it out. I hope this has helped :)

Thanks, do u have to unlock the cruise control via laptop? And on the steering wheel do you connect black cable on pin nr.2 and red on 3?

Best to disconnect the battery and short plus and minus on the car before touching airbags.

Not always correct modern vw require you to leave battery connected when working on airbags, I know other manufactures do also
