First, about gearing tune. You meed to know the cars advantage. Some car had bad accelaration and had a good speed. ( Set High FD ) Some car have overpower accelaration and medium speed. ( go down to do more speed ) If the car have balance speed and accelaration, just adjusting the main gear and Final Drive as they are most important part for tuning. (Nitro, Turbo boost, Tire, Gearbox, clutch giving huge impact for gearing tuning) Also small part like intake, Intercooler and other parts that give low +, you dont need to change gearing. The point of the video is to show people how to tune and you didn’t do that. Nitrous should be tuned for the duration of the race you’re doing and putting everything in a “slope” is about the most stupid way to tell people to tune. If you were to actually tune the civic instead of acting like a smooth brain you could run sub 4s and 6s
@@TreggBullionI followed the guide on how to tune in the Official APEX Racer Discord server. You can see the parenthesis "For beginners". Not for beating races like Nala's race, The Serpent or Online Races. And also you need the torque for the start because the civic has a low torque as you could see the graph in the Dyno so that's why I put the Nitrous stat to more power than duration. And also the Slope technique is the easiest way to tune gear ratios for cars, and this is the same technique they use in PCR too. I hope you understand that this tutorial is for beginners only and not for professional racing.
@itmethang exactly, bro I just got the game and this tutorial helped me don't worry he's hating for no reason I can see where he's coming from late game wise but if he had at least the intelligence of a fucking mole rat he would have seen that its aimed for beginners such as myself.
@@itmethang big problem. your video says 'shift at the peak power' in this case 7k rpm. wrong. in this case, peak power is almost all the way up to 8k rpm, so go all the way. then when you shift up, you're at a higher rpm and closer to peak power..
