Something I never understood with Capcom, taking out character based stages in their newest fighting games. Imagine how good Makoto's stage would have looked in Street Fighter 4, or Ibuki's. 3rd Strike and Alpha 3 had great looking stages! There are some decent ones in 4, like Solar Eclipse or Underpass, but they just don't compare to the older stages in my opinion.
One of my favorite characters to use against cocky players. VERY versatile and can be VERY speedy. Besides her super can make many people run away due to the damage increase x3.

Makoto is kickass glad to see her back, hard to believe Capcom was going to make her Ryu's little sister. Man she already tough and hard enough but man think of Makoto having ryu's move and her own man she would be a boss character lol.
Once Arcade Edition came around they said screw it and gave back everything that made her good in Third Strike while SSFIV they where scared of making her anything like her TS form. They even made her better in some areas like her medium s.punch. She was high tier.
I like how people talk more about Makoto as their waifu than Ibuki when Ibuki has a story mode about meeting boys and Makoto has a story mode about beating the ever-loving fuck out of everyone to get your dojo off the ground.

Always loved hearing this in local/online vs matches and lobbies on home consoles to bad you don't have the option to hear characters themes in the 3ds version except for intros and rival battles.
@shanethefox ur right. those are TRAINED feet. its because of her down-to-the-ground style. she probably pratices many stances that put stress and strength on her feet. thus, they change and adopt to whatever she does.
She IS pretty damn nerfed, but it's a bit of a mixed blessing. Since nobody ever fights her and knows very little of her advanced tactics and quirks, in some games, my Makoto can do a perfect round on a bamboozled enemy. She still needs to fight and earn her victories, so it feels like I'm actually being skilled when I win with her too. Both Makoto and Gen are my mains in SSF4. Both very nerfed but both with very unique and dangerous styles when used right.
