Makes sense! Sounds like you and your creativity and all you need to think about. High Risk! If not creative u r miserable. Need to keep this to refer to.
I suggest that most people are in a constant state of apprehension about "what might happen next" that is going to even be worse than is happening right now.
If a god exists ... it has to be a monster ... as mythologically it can see the future ... but we can't ... so we are always apprehensive about being content ... because we know from past experience that suffering from loss always follows that sense of "contentment." It's just a matter of "time."
Example ... preparing for Christmas ... happy ... excited ... looking forward to the day ... only to go to your beloved baby's crib to find her dead.
For that person ... trust is gone ... and future Christmases will never be anything but memories of what could have been ... if only she had lived.
Contentment always come at a "cost."
Whether one is filthy rich or desperately poor ... that is real life on planet earth.

It's not funny when these worries over what might happen hits home.
I truly love most of the things I have listened to before… However I found this video more discouraging than inspiring… I’m just saying 🤷🏼♀️

I absolutely see where you are coming from. Me personally, I take it as a warning. I am in a place in my life where I have been stagnant because I choose to be a stay at home mom of my five sons. Well, now they are grown and from what I can tell I did a good job because they are building good lives for themselves and they don't need me to hold their hands. I created my own dilemma. Although, I have always had very creative hobbies that I have been told many times I could make a living at, I never tried because my job was to raise my sons. Now, I have to do something with myself and I would like it to be productive. It has crossed my mind to attempt at making my creativity a business but I also know everything Mr. Peterson said is absolutely true if I wanted to take it to the highest level. Honestly, my life has been a train wreck as of the past two years. The truth is I needed to hear this. I can't emotionally, mentally, or even physically, take one more catastrophic letdown. Someday, I'm sure I will be strong enough to handle that again but not now or in the foreseeable future. I needed to hear, "no this is not for you, at least not now." I needed to be reminded that I have an incredible amount that needs to be attended to and I need to, until I get my second wind for my second half of my life, just do what I know and make that the absolute top notch best that I can. May your path be blessed with the beauty and richness of each rising sun.
If you have the talent, time, stamina, and tolerance to face that world all at the same time in your life than that in itself is miraculous and rare. If that is you, from someone who has witnessed that world first hand, maybe that means you should move on it. Make your dreams happen.

Very discouraging video. More pessimistic than inspiring. My son is an artist and I will never send him this as it's very negative. This more of a "stop dreaming and get your life together" video. Not inspiring at all.😢
If your son has the talent, time, stamina and state of mind to tolerate the world that comes with making creativity a business, he is blessed few people have all that all at the same time in life. Maybe he can look at it as a challenge? Just a thought from one mother of sons to another.
My friend. You know... sometimes we need to understand how hard it's, to get to act on the right track and actually make it. Life is not only roses and it will not be easy, like Jordan said. He's telling us a way to reduce frustration and risks, not to stop whatever you're dreaming about. So, don't worry and your son is going to achieve it. God Bless you, have a good day :)
