Namjoon's music has a way of hitting right in my chest rather than my ears. There's something truly extraordinary about him as an artist. It's a no-skip album - each song was a surprise but yet feels like a whole. Polished but raw. And some real bangers! He's absolutely a poet. His mind is amazing. 🔵
RMs lyrics just hit so intensely no one is ever ready for them. Youjeen is the lead vocalist for a rock/punk band Cherry Filter she was worried her voice/style would overpower the song but RM wanted that powerful emotional vocal pop like a firework explosion and it worked so well. Plus one of the most visually beautiful MVs. Still Life is a viiiibe. It also so much to analyze about life, art, standing still moving forward, how we all see snapshots of each other but are moving through life and not those snap shots. The album is a no skip audio masterpiece that is a total treat from track 1 with the unmatched Erykah Badu to the final track.
This album, just like mono, needs to be listened to start to finish. RM is such a masterful storyteller. My faves on the album are Yun, Lonely, and All Day.
Amazing sound, lyrics, visuals. Both are masterpieces in their own way. There is a fabulous live performance of these songs (and others) at Rolling Hall that is worth watching. Youjeen performs live with him. 💜
This whole album is sooooo nice. All 10 songs have different vibe and genres. My favorite is "Wild flower" and "No.2"! Thank you for this reaction!! : )
What a wonderful, fresh, insightful reaction… I agree: these are 2 sides of a story. Wild flower is kinda heavy and not for all moods. Please do post your reaction to the rest of the album which I’m sure you will enjoy. The tracks are best listened to in sequence. They are each in a different genre and capture Joon’s evolving thoughts since Mono. He’s grown a lot musically!
I am so glad to see more reactions to BTS and their members in your channel as a subscriber for a long time now. I hope you can listen to INDIGO, RM suggested to people that to listen to it in order when doing so because it tells a story, and he really thought about the order of the songs. I guarantee you that every song in his album is a masterpiece. They all hit different, both in vibes and meaning, and I know you'll really enjoy them. Anyway, I am also glad that you are feeling better!

The whole album is amazing. Lonely is my favorite track on the album, but tbh it's a no skip album. Namjoon is on another level.

I was wondering whose voice Youjeen’s reminded me of and you were spot on - Alanis Morissette!
